We only had one night booked here, or I would have demanded a refund and found another place. First, no one ever mentioned or warned us of the state of disrepair the facility was in. I'm not sure if it was just regular wear and tear, or if they had specific storm damage (because no one talked to us about it), but it was bad. There was no working AC in the elevators or on the fourth floor, and it was miserably hot and humid in those areas.

Turning down the hall toward our room we had to navigate around large buckets placed in the middle of the hallway to catch dripping water from missing ceiling tiles. Once we got to our room we found the door was unsecured and able to be pushed open without a key card, leading to careful search of the room.

The room AC worked fine, so the heat issue was alleviated once we were in there, but my shirt was already sticking to my back. The trashcan in the bathroom could not be moved because it served the functional purpose of preventing the bathroom door from swinging shut. They might want to check for foundation issues. But that is perhaps the reason housekeeping failed to find and remove a used towel hanging on the back of the door from the previous occupant (maybe?). The "fresh" towels that were provided to us included a mat that had a large rip in the middle of it and a stain we preferred not to analyze.

The carpets were sticky (hopefully a side effect from the level of humidity in the building, but one can never be certain), and at least one wall had a mysterious substance streaked down, having been splattered and ran. The bed appeared clean and was comfortable enough, as long as you can live with pillows the size of postage stamps.

I brought all these concerns to the attention of the front desk upon checkout, but other than requesting the room number and offering an obligatory "sorry," no other explanation or offer was made (or requested, because frankly, we were just ready to get out of there). We did grab two bananas from the breakfast area on our way out, primarily because they come encased and protected by nature, and that's all we trusted at this point.

Walking in the building, you can feel/smell the stale air inside. My room was hot, there was no air circulation, and the room was not appealing. Everything looked old as if nothing has been updated since over 30 years ago, and the bed was not comfortable. The smell throughout the building and rooms caused my wife's allergies to act up. We canceled with no refund due to third party. Price here at this place should be the same as a Motel. We opted to Holiday Inn next door which was cheaper and stay was better.

This was a nice hotel and we enjoyed out stay. The woman at the front desk was great even though she was super stressed out because we stayed the night they had all their systems go down due to the big Microsoft problem. Took a little longer to check in but completely understandable. The prices were very decent too for the hotel.
The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because the pool was green and nasty looking. I believe it was from the hurricane from a month or so earlier that hit that area. They hadn't cleaned it yet. Surprisingly people were still swimming in it and it didn't seem to bother them but it looked gross. Nothing too dirty, just darker green murky water.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Oh where do I begin?! First, there is no air conditioning in the elevators or hallways. Second, I waited 5 hours for linens for the sofa bed. Third, the pool is neon green. There is no way I would ever let my children swim in it. Fourth and so far final complaint is there is a hole in the ceiling in the hallway with 2 buckets under it. It was raining and water is steadily dropping from the ceiling on to the floor and in to the buckets. I asked to speak to a manager and have yet to hear from her. We are staying here for 3 nights for our sons wedding. I have never been to a hotel like this that didn't cost $50 a night and yet I have paid almost $600 for these 3 nights. I would NEVER stay here again!!!

Already angry with them and haven’t even checked in. I was double booked. I called a week ago and was told no problem they would just cancel when I arrived. Called today and was told I would be charged for the double booking ! Crap service and lies!

First night no power. All good.
2nd night here and they packed up my stuff and didn’t pack everything, so I am missing items on top having them pack my things for me. We had these rooms booked for over a week.
Apparently there’s a Sharon that works here who has a brother who is a cop, and they PUT HIM IN MY ROOM AND TOOK OUT MY STUFF.
. (I know this bc the clerk guy the with all the piercings said that to the maintenance guy. He is clueless and new I guessidk. Well he messed up not only me but every one’s room. Multiple nights.
So after almost 2 hours of waiting I got into a room. That was someone else’s I worked with.
3rd night my key wouldn’t work. I go down. Come up 3 times because of it.
4th night.i asked for my room to get cleaned that morning. Nothing was done. The GENERAL (crack head) MANAGER was asking for my I.D. And at this point i was too frustrated bc I had gone up and down 2 times already for MY KEY not working so I said I been here too many times in one day for you to ask for my ID. And the guy didn’t anyways.
She was very rude and stuck up and shouldn’t be managing anything bc this hotel is absolutely ran by crack heads. Completely unorganized. Unprofessional, and just disrespectful.
Every one is awkward and clueless even to simple questions.
Just don’t stay here. Stay somewhere Else. It’s dingy and nasty feeling. Rude service.

Terrible service.
I made a reservation for two nights in 3 different rooms because I was hosting some of my wedding guests there.
When I arrived to check in, only one room was ready, I had to wait 3 hours for the other two rooms to be ready.
Although the lobby manager apologized to me, she said that they would give me a discount of $40 dollars for each room that was not ready.
To my surprise, that was a lie, they never gave me the discount. I do not recommend this hotel at all, in addition to that, the food included in the breakfast is really tasteless.
