The whole team, and experience has been fantastic. From initial phone call inquiry to final day of install, we could not have gotten a more professional, knowledgeable and patient team. Wonderful company. Friendly, efficent and professional! Would highly recommend this company to anyone. Not only did they install our fully off grid solar system, but they wired our Log Cabin with such care to ensure to keep the authenticity of a log structure.
Not to mention how dog friendly they are!

I hired Haliburton Solar and Wind to assess and provide a quote for the possible installation of solar panels for our cottage. Joel came out and did a great job and provided useful feedback to my questions. I also hired them to upgrade my incoming electrical service from 100 amps to 200 amps and their workmanship was great. I will be hiring them to do more work at our cottage.

We are very happy we selected Haliburton Solar and Wind for our off grid home. Joel's experience, professionalism and knowledge is remarkable. Brian's patience and knowledge to explain us what we need before the home was built was greatly appreciated. We had a great experience with Haliburton S+W, the work was completed on time, the system was installed and tested, and Joel took the time to explain us how to operate it. I chose to go with Haliburton Solar and Wind because they were local and because they were recommended by my builder who used them for their own solar installation.
I am very impressed and extremely satisfied with my solar panel installation so far. (It has only been a couple of months of power generation).
Brian and his team kept me informed throughout the entire process and delivered to the schedule provided. The fact Brian handled all the necessary paperwork with Hydro One meant I did not have worry about it.
Brian did the site evaluation based on an existing cottage which was being replaced and used the plans for the new cottage to complete the power estimations. As the solar panels were being installed an a new build, Brian even made provisions to do the electrical rough in for the panels in the middle of the winter during the cottage build so that all the wiring for the panel would be out of site. This was a much appreciated additional step as it made the final installation very clean.
The crews that showed up to do the electrical rough in wiring, the panel installation and electrical hook up were very professional and from what I observed appeared to do a quality job. They managed to complete the entire panel installation and hook up in one day which was nice.
I give Brian and his entire team a 5 star rating and would not hesitate to recommend Haliburton Solar and Wind to anyone looking to install solar panels.
