Cheryl Henneberry isn’t being truthful; the place is never crowded, it doesn’t smell, and if it does, it isn’t overwhelming. Or maybe I don’t have heightened senses.
The place is very organized and the pricing is reasonable, if you don’t like the pricing at a THRIFT STORE, go somewhere else.

I stopped shopping here years ago after an employee came out of the bathroom and assumed i hadn't paid for something i was in no way concealing, but I've been back a few times and not been accosted once! Nice work

I visited this store today and firstly I found the prices for things to be too expensive. Such as clothing... priced too high considering they were donated. Eg...a simple women's top was $7.oo and a pair of summer pj's was $9.00.
Secondly... I had picked out a few items, intending to buy and still looking around the store. I spotted a valentines table of assorted things which I was interested in buying. Needless to say I had to use the washroom before I shopped. I approached the clerk and asked if there was a washroom. I am a senior almost 70 and my husband with me is 73. I also have a bowel condition which doesn't allow me to linger. The clerk said...We don't have a washroom "for the public". She suggested I go to Giant Tiger or Staples. As a senior, I was expected to leave the store, walk or drive to those particular stores, hopefully making it in time and come back to finish my shopping. Shame on you for treating a person like this. I left my merchandise and left the store. I have no intention of ever shopping there again.
I think it is appalling that an older person is not permitted to use the washroom. I'm sure their staff uses one throughout the day.
They have lost my business. They are a charity driven business, so why not show compassion to the people in need.

The prices at this store have skyrocketed. There was a coat there today for $50, a couple of coats for $25, a sweater for $10, and many other unpleasant surprises. I stopped looking at that point. They used to have excellent prices. Everything is donated, so I do not see why the prices have more than tripled. I have given them several bags of items, but no more. Very disappointed.

Great staff that are helpful and friendly! They always have an interesting assortment of goods and the prices are phenomenal. This thrift store is simply fantastic and worth visiting due to inventory always changing. I did not find what I was looking for but I did find another item that I purchased.

Truly a hidden jewel in Dartmouth. The absolute best thrift shop I have ever been to. The staff are wonderful, especially the manager who goes above and beyond to make sure the customers needs are fulfilled. The only thing one could maybe complain about are some of the other customers.

They keep all the wonderful products that are donated for their window display and will not sell to the public/customers.

Are you not non profit?

Should you not be selling EVERYTHING that is donated?

Shouldn't all that is donated be for sale so the monies paid go to those who need it?

I get that you need a window display but once something sells from your display just replace it with another donated product!

I was there today ..Some winter coats are $40 and $50 dollars..Unbelievable how the prices have skyrocketed. Everything is donated .The thrift store is there so the less fortunate can afford to buy items. Who can afford a $50 used winter coat. Much cheaper at Wal-Mart..This store is becoming another Value Village
