We have used Gravenhurst Plumbing and Heating twice recently to clear a blocked sanitary line, and install a sump pump (an urgent one!). They were extremely professional, well priced and responsive. The guys that came to do the work were outstanding and highly considerate of our home. They saved our basement! We will always call them for our plumbing and heating needs!

The best in town ! with all the essential heating plumbing and electrical services under one roof. I had an emergency situation with my waste water pump and they fixed it within a few hours. Recently, my father had his a/c stop working, during the intense heat wave nonetheless. It was under warranty with Gravenhurst plumbing, heating and electrical. When called they came the next day, assessed the equipment and advised that a new component was required. Their schedule was fully booked in the days ahead and the component needed to be ordered, but they squeezed my dad in well ahead of schedule to accommodate a vulnerable senior. Thank you!

TITLE: LACK OF TRANSPARENCY RAISES CONCERNS!
I recently contacted This company with the intention of exploring the installation of a heat pump in my home. While I understand that businesses aim to make a profit, transparency is crucial in establishing trust between a company and its customers. I provided information about my house and asked for a ballpark figure for the installation. However, when I requested a breakdown of the costs, the salesperson flatly refused, citing confidentiality. I believe in transparency to ensure a fair assessment of costs. In my opinion, a breakdown of costs, such as unit price and labour charges ,. is not an unreasonable request. I am aware of the industry standards and expected profit margins. Unfortunately, the salesperson was unwilling to provide any insight leaving me feeling skeptical. I acknowledged that Gravenhurst Plumbing, Heating , and Electric has a long-standing history and some positive reviews. However, my experience lacked the transparency I believe is essential in any business transaction. I felt a sense of deviousness or unnecessary confidentiality during our interaction. A one star review reflects my disappointment with the lack of openness and transparency, elements I consider vital when considering a significant investment like a heat pump installation. I hope the company reevaluates its approach to customer communication for the benefit of all potential clients.
