I usually don’t write any bad reviews but i couldn’t stop myself writing this one.
So today 01-09-2025 at 09:25 AM. As i was sitting in close to my window and garbage truck came to collect recycle. The driver picked up the recycle bin to dump the trash but when he dropped the bin back, oh my god, i should have recorded it. He threw away our garbage bin on the edge of our driveway so carelessly as i was looking right at him what he was doing. Why you hire such people don’t know how to do their job. It felt disgusting. I know no action will be taken but i am writing the truck# as i noted at the back of the truck which is 801012.
Such a careless way of doing their job when they are getting paid well 👎

Monday morning may 20 th 2024 10am was taking trash to the Brady landfill and the driver in the gfl pulled beside me to dump the trash even though the workers said that the those trucks are suppose to go further back to dump. He started to raise the truck to dump and the garbage started spilling in my truck. He continued to dump and I had to stand on garbage bags to get into my drivers door. He came out and he saw what he did. I asked him to at least move it and he said no it’s not his job and told me to remove it. He was rude and I told him I was going to report it and he said go ahead they won’t do anything your problem. I went to my passenger side to get my phone to take a pic and he ran to his truck. The workers who were controlling the dump sure watched all this as I spoke to them afterwards and he was totally in the wrong. Been trying to talk to a person to complain no luck. Terrible and rude worker and endangered me and my vehicle as he was dumping.

THIS COMPANY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE GARBAGE!!! GFL should stand for greed for life. Tracy Pearson came on as my “rep” and ruined my entire experience with this company. She made so many mistakes and costs me so much extra money. I have screen shots of our text messages and emails. So unorganized and so unprofessional.”oh sorry I thought you were a different person!” Calling from blocked numbers and not leaving messages. Talking down to me like I am worthless!!! Apparently she is a manager now. Josh my new rep lied to me over and over again and said charges would be taken off my account and never happened!! This company ripped me off and treated me like garbage. All of the sudden they implemented a new rule that if a bin is too full they charge $125 fee. It’s $79 or less for a full bin dump. How does that make sense!?!? I have asked so many times to speak with their superiors over 10 times and they constantly say they are not in the building and will call me back and I never get a call back!!!!! This is one of the worst companies I have ever had to work with in Winnipeg. I would stay away from using this company in any capacity. Hopefully their superiors see this and understand what is happening to their customers!! GREEDY PEOPLE. TERRIBLE PEOPLE.

Had one of their drivers jump out of their truck and started screaming and swearing at me cause he apparently didn’t have room to get by my vehicle when he had plenty of room to get by… I have photos for proof. This driver should not be employed by this company for the way he treats the public and businesses he goes to… he also should take more driving lessons if he isn’t confident driving such a big vehicle……

I was in a stand off with one of the drivers this morning in my back lane who I followed while they picked up trash. Once they reached the end they started to back up and refused to go around the block. I cannot believe this type of behaviour exists. The driver refused to move and I had to back up and use another route. Totally unprofessional. Zero stars.

GFL drivers have destroyed my bins and my lawn (twice) with their inattention to their job, putting me on the hook for the costs to repair their damage. Calling GFL is futile, they refer you to 311, and in turn 311 tells you to take it up with GFL. Ever since the city privatized waste removal its been less than ideal.
