They are best service and fair price around better than a lot of u are in picton or Belleville or Kingston or anywhere 30 min from napanee recommend doing the drive cause picton pays half the amount per pound I got $60 for 1000 pounds were I would have got $110 at geurdeu scrap yard napanee, but I’m getting sick of driving down on a Friday or Saturday and them being closed on there regular posted hours of operation and I’ve waisted the gas and my time a few times and had to go to Mario’s scrap which is always open but they don’t show you your weight and clame to be the best price in area lol not

Usually when a corporation takes over a small local business, things are changed but not usually for the better. Gerdau has done a exceptional job and not only improving the quality/experience of the yard for customers, but they also maintain that small, independent business feel. They treat you like a person not a number and as someone who has supported this yard for a long time, I am happy to continue doing so under the new management.

Always been more than fair and easy to deal with. A few years back i had booked in a truck to get rid of a lot of old trucks/equipment as scrap.But between the time i booked and when they picked it up the price of steel went down. They were upfront about the price drop and honored the higher price without me even having to ask. I've been dealing with them ever since and would always recommend them.
