Horrible customer service. Had to call in three times and still didn't get my requests resolved properly. Customer service reps are always in a rush of hanging up the phone, one person even said and I quote "I don't have no time to deal with this cause I have other calls piling up, so I'm going to hang up now". What kind of response is this? Absolutely unacceptable! I would give 0 star if I have the choice. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had, so will certainly escalate this awful experience with details to the next level authority.

At least once a month the power goes out, usually in the morning before the alarm clock goes off… but I’m guessing a one star really doesn’t matter, service has been bad ever since I can remember.

July 26 thunderstorms/ strong winds at 4pm ish. It is now 9:20pm with no power still for the whole neighborhood. No updates or anything as to when power will be back. Called after hours # just for updates and the automated voice just says “Power Outage in your area”. An update would be nice. It hasn’t rained from 6pm-now. What is taking so long? No updates for the neighborhoods affected?

I wish we had a choice to pick out our own company. Terrible service. Reviews from months/years back says 1star and yet no changes in the service.

Last month, there was a power outage in Leamington that lasted around 9 hours.
Today, the power has been out in Leamington for 4 hours and still going strong. I keep checking their site and there has been no update.
I know it's not their fault that the storms happened. I know this outage isn't their fault either.
But their lack of response? That is their fault.
Essex deserves better. We deserve to have our power be reliable.

power goes out more in one month than the 20 years I spent with Hydro One. Amherstburg is a wonderful town that unfortunately relies on this subpar company. it's time to upgrade your extension cords into real powerlines

The worst company, we should be able to choose who we want for service, wind blows (NO hydro), rain falls (NO hydro), a car passes by (NO hydro). You are the worst hydro company it is so bad, so horrible, hours with no hydro, and when it comes, is just on and off DAMAGING electronics. You sir win.
