If we could give this company a zero rating we would. Moved to our new ranch in September called to arrange service with a given rate! Apparently they were to send a contract out that was not received by us as it ended up in our junk mail, so instead of reaching out to us they jacked our rate to over 26 cents per kilowatt hour. When we received our bills they were huge to say the least. We called to try and get answers and we where told to bad not our problem and we are gonna do nothing to adjust the bill and we have 9000 customer and don’t have time to call anyone. I would highly recommend no one use these guys and if you do cancel your service immediately. We called enmax the same day and were give a rate of 8 cents 4 times less. These people are a horrible company with zero customer service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!! Equs is by far the worst company I have ever used as a utility provider.

Rates are thru the roof, field service guys are ok....they just follow orders.....have never lived anywhere that has so many rural power outages....with all of the admin fees and line loss fees and fees for this that and the other thing how bout doing something about the outdated power grid. 2 times in 3 weeks this fall line broke and was just patched both times. In the event of an outage service crews have to come all the way from innisfail to service bentley, rimbey area. The minute you fall behind there right there to disconnect. But when there's a problems it's be patient we will get to it as soon as we can !

Completely shut off the power to the house and I have 3 small children, not a limit on the power, just completely shut off, heartless, money hungry company.
