I had the opportunity to work with Epicure for several months, providing social media management and content creation services through my company. Unfortunately, they abruptly declared bankruptcy, leaving me with nearly $14,000 in unpaid invoices for both work and travel expenses.
This lack of accountability and financial responsibility is highly disappointing, particularly given their plans for a relaunch. Businesses should honor their commitments and maintain ethical practices, especially when working with external partners. Transparency and integrity are fundamental in any industry, and it’s disheartening to see such disregard for the professionals who have contributed to their success.

So disgusted on how you went about this closure. You stated on the news this was not a choice made lightly but when you cease operations the way you chose to your warehouse of dedicated staff of 175 ppl and hundreds of dedicated sales consultants were not given any thought consideration at all. If you really didn't make this choice lightly you could have put it out to staff and consultants that you were looking at closing doors in 30 days say, giving your fulltime staff opportunity to plan/prepare to find other ways to support their families and pay their bills. You could have also before it came to this put the company up for sale say last fall, which would have kept employees working, and maybe staying with the new owners of Epicure. I'm sure you thought of these options, but for whatever reason chose against this. I know many companies have fallen on hard times, and some choose to shut down the way you did, but its shocking this angle was the way Epicure chose to go about it! Shocking regardless, but at least lightly considering your loyal, hardworking Epicure staff if you had given them some grace. There are many persons who are owed hostess credits (incentives that you, your company offered and promised)where they earned free product for sales of your products they gathered through your sales consultants, all hardworking individuals. But no... apparently they will not get the hostess benefits they earned now as you decided to just sell off all your stock online really before thinking you should take care of promises first... basically that told many of us you are not taking care of these credits for products at all. For many years I have had so much faith in you, your business, and the products you create, so disappointing...

I’m an SHOCKED and angry to see how you’ve just shut down and let go of your employees - leaving your sales team without answers or pay checks! I have been a happy customer for years and look to epicure for gluten-free food for myself and my daughter.
This is abhorrent business behaviour! Your team and your customers deserve better, and deserve answers.

Although I'm fairly new I have to say I'm SO HYPE to work for this company. With an already successful business entering the e-commerce space, the opportunity is endless. The marketing team is leveling up each month and our process have been night and day since I started. Finally found a company I can sink my teeth into and provide next level work with incredible results. Now shifting focus to the product! If you're all about ease and saving money in the kitchen then Epicure is a no brainer. Takes some getting used to but Epicure has actually enabled me to get creative in the kitchen. Cooking things I have never thought I could make (and it tastes good lol). Excited for the future of Epicure and I am officially a fan of the brand forever.

Don't get me wrong; I love working with my coworkers. Good people, it's the company that doesn't work.

>management promises incentives that don't exist. Like last time I was promised a bonus. I ended up leaving the job without it. I feel bad for my co-workers who received the same promise.

>when you ask for sick days, management doesn't care.

It's been such a positive experience at Epicure! The product is amazing, the team is incredible and my life SO much easier in the kitchen these days. Healthy, delicious meals in 20 minutes? It doesn't get much better than that honestly.

Very disappointed with the system your qualify your consultants with. I've been ordering for 5 years with the same gal. She has had 4 children during this time placing order every 3 months. Even Days before a premie baby... Now because of a customer order needing special timing she didn't meet your monthly/ quarterly goals. Its only after almost 3 months that you now tell me she is no longer active... possibly letting her know earlier there was still a bottom line to meet would have kept all of us active... so maybe I'm no longer and active customer... how does that feel to you?
