The team made everything so easy for us from start to finish. They were great at explaining the process of the solar panel installation and how everything worked. Once the installation started it went very quickly. We highly recommend dealing with Energy Smart. They are a locally owned business which is important to us. We’ve only had our panels for a week. We can’t wait to see the effect on our power bills!

We approached Energy Smart in the summer of 2024 to get information on installing solar panels on our home. We received quotes from 3 different companies, but decided to go with Energy Smart because of their amazing customer service. A representative came and discussed the installation process and answered our questions. He was very pleasant and extremely informative. Within a few weeks we had blueprints and a quote on the recommended system to meet our power demands. Energy Smart informed us that they were extremely busy and would not be able to start the installation until at least December. Throughout the fall and early winter, they kept us updated regularly on the installation schedule. It was refreshing to deal with a company that called or emailed us; we did not have to call them! Our installation took place in January. The installation team was organized and efficient and kept us informed of their progress. They called before they arrived each day, showed up on time and cleaned up all of their materials. The installation process itself took only a few days. We had one small hiccup with an electrical breaker; however, the electrician found the problem quickly and the issue was resolved the next day, All the while, we were kept updated on the progress. Once installed, a representative sat down with us and went over the solar power app, discussed utility company options and how different solar programs work. Again, he was extremely informative and made the process easy to understand. Energy Smarts Accounting Department sent invoices and receipts accurately and expediently.
Our solar panels are operating well! Even though the days have been snowy and cloudy, our they are producing the anticipated amount of energy. We are looking forward to sunnier, longer days!
It was wonderful to deal with a company that kept us informed, completed work on time, provided us with all of the information we needed and did it pleasantly and efficiently. And most importantly, we were always able to contact someone directly with questions or concerns.

We built a new house in 2023 and had EnergySmart put in a ground source heat pump and solar panels. My wife wasn't sure about going this direction, but they were able to take us around to tour some places and customers they'd worked with in the past, and that helped her to feel like it was a worthwhile investment.

After moving in, we had some issues with the geothermal unit not collecting the condensation properly over the summer (which caused some dripping and small-scale flooding in the mechanical room), and we called them back to try to fix it. It took two tries until it was fully under control, but Peter Hansen was very responsive and made himself available even at weird hours. He wasn't satisfied with it until I was and wanted to make sure we were happy with the results.

I've been very happy with their service and responsiveness, and we've been enjoying the comfort of our new home. We've only just got the solar up in August and are looking forward to some reduced or nonexistent utility bills this year!

We're so happy we went with Energy Smart for our solar panel installation! They helped us out with information every step of the way, including signing up for the Greener Homes Loan. While we were waiting for the install due to the extremely high demand they have, the team kept us updated on where we were in their queue and with permits.

Once they were ready to install them, the team was so efficient and we had them fully running within two days! They made sure we were happy every step of the way, even confirming that we were happy with where they installed the wiring. When everything was finished, they sent us a very detailed list of the next steps to take to complete our loan, switch to power companies that would give us more value, and apply for other funding.

We're excited to already be producing power even though our install happened right before the winter weather hit and can't wait to maximize our panels through the summer!

We are very happy with the sales process at Arctic Spas. Brent and his team were very patient with all of our questions. They had, what we felt was, very honest feedback about certain features of the tubs. We felt very comfortable with our final decision and look forward to receiving our tub. We were also very impressed with Shawn who came out to help us move our old spa off site. He worked our difficult situation with patience and understanding. We appreciated the care and attention all Arctic Spa staff has take with us from the minute we walked into their shop. Highly recommend! We were referred by our friends to this location and will be happy to refer others here too!

I approached Energy Smart in early March when I considered installing solar panels. They recommended that I apply for a Greener Homes Loan at 0 percent interest over 10 years. The process of obtaining the loan was not a problem. Once the loan was in place I was told that the install could take some time depending on wind and weather and others installs that were booked before mine. My panels were installed early in December of 2024 once the team was able to complete process as winter was really setting in. The team came sail for a week or so to insure that the roof was clear of ice and snow. Once they were able to install the panels the team set to it only taking two short days to install. After the final Amerispec and city inspections were complete my panels were up and running. Since installation there has been many grey days here in Lethbridge. I am looking forward to the days of sunshine that southern Alberta is known for and reap the benefit that my solar panels can produce. I certainly recommend the team at Energy Smart to anyone wanting to make a greener alternative to generating electricity.

We had Energy Smart install our Solar in Lethbridge July 2022. They were the best priced out of all the competitors, had the best customer service, and have always answered my questions - both before and after install. I also liked dealing with someone local who isn't based out of Calgary, as I feel they have more ownership of their work and quality, as they are based in our community here!
They took care of the permits, provided guidance with the Federal Grant, and aligned everything for the install date including the electrician and city inspectors. (The Federal loan was not an option at the time of our install, however we've heard from friends that they provided help and guidance on qualifying for that program too!)
During install, the Pigeon guard wasn't installed due to backorder issues - and they were happy to wait for final payment of the project until their work was 100% complete. They returned in less than 2 weeks and completed the install.
They have a great warranty and use high quality Solar Panels (verified by an electrical engineer friend who installs large solar farms in Alberta).
The monitoring app you get is addictive to check and see how your system is doing and how much you are generating!! We have recommended them to our friends who also had multiple quotes from different suppliers, and have ended up choosing Energy Smart.
Rudy, Peter, Adrien and team are great to work with. We also bought our Hot Tub from Rudy in 2020, and recommend Arctic Spas for that product too.

I was amazed at how quickly the solar panels were installed. "Plug and play" is what I think of as it all was so seamless and now I can monitor the production of the units anytime and anywhere I want to do so. Adrien and Christine in the office have gone far beyond their "job description" to be encouraging, cheerful and so helpful in walking with me from the initial stage to completion of the project. Not only that, but they continue to be available to answer any questions I have, doing so much more than I expected for a retailer/installer. I cannot say more good about them and Energy Smart Lethbridge.
