Worst experience ever. Do not sign up with them or u will lose thousands of dollars. Check their price for natural gas. Higher than any other energy provider. Also poor customer service. Been with them since 2018 and discovered I was paying more in fees than any other provider. No albertan should enroll with them

DO NOT GO with EFL complete rip off and very unprofessional,they slammed me with an additional 250 even after I called and discontinued services with them.
Don't even bother with them they are a complete joke for a energy company.

Absolute joke of a company
Asked for a 300$ deposit for setting up a monthly term 🤣 than stated they'll do weekly for only 15$ a week which is roughly 60$ a month on a fixed dollar amount!?! Last time I checked that's not how energy is tested nor charged!! Literally a joke! Glad I used my senses and went elsewhere, the reviews also speak for themselves, Go elsewhere if you can, lots of 3rd party services that offer great rates considering the times we live in.

Absolutely terrible company. Received confirmation of my services being stopped as per my request and was looking into setting up with this company at my new address, found out I did not need to set up an energy account as it was included and let the company know, received confirmation that my services would be stopped at my previous address and no new account set up . Despite this confirmation they found a random address I do not live at and started charing me the power bills despite many conversations and confirmations via phone and email.

Put in a request to move weeks before moving. They never acted on the request and I was left without gas and energy with a baby in our new home. Not impressed and was told it would be at least two business days to restore. Won’t be returning.

After calling and emailing, they did eventually refund me the fee for the quick energize and tried to make things better.

Signed up for a floating rate plan. Obviously big mistake based on the summer prices. But this outfit charged as much as ~$0.19 a KWh. Always had troubles reaching them by phone. I contacted Energy For Less before the allotted three month "cheaper than your previous provider " guarantee. Didn't get back to me until afterwards and said I had passed the window. When I explained I contacted them before, the agent said she would speak to her supervisor and get back to me. Never heard back. Cancelled and switched back to a fixed plan. If this business doesn't go under from bad service it will when everyone switches back to fixed rate.

IF YOU NEVER WANT TO HAVE ISSUES RESOLVED IN LESS THAN A MONTH!!!!
I've been calling every day leaving voicemails which no one has called me back. Its been 5 days of calling no response.

Their Email communication is USELESS since its 1 email from them MAYBE PER DAY, to resolve issues w my account.
Last email I got from them they claimed "I do not have power with them it must be another provider, we only have you as a customer for internet."
WHAT, I sent my monthly invoices which I assure I am 100% an electric power customer.

So if you want a company that MIGHT save you some dollars in exchange for 0 customer service, choose this one.

They'll claim they assist customer via telephone but its a lie. They only allow you to stay on hold for 2 minutes then force you to leave a message instead of waiting on hold for their reps.
Email assistance is virtually useless when you have financial problems needing to be fixed right away.

Get used to being unprioritized w your concerns w this company.

Ps. My start up last year took 3 weeks to get set up.
In my life experience calling a power company to Switch your energy to another apartment is a 1 day thing. Internet a week maybe to have a tech come in w telus & hook up.
Its not a complicated process. This company will tell you it takes a week at least just for electric & cannot give you ANY idea WHEN you'll have your power hooked.

Update: Got a call back but had to escalate as my electric account (apparently they signed me under 2 different account for internet and power wth?), for a 300.00 dollar charge when my monthly has always been roughly 50.00
They are telling me my electric was cancelled Aug 31 2021.....WHAT.
My 1 year lease ended then but I didn't cancel my account or get any notifications they were closing my account. While BEING CHARGED STILL.
Now I'm waiting to hear back, the girl on the call told me it appears there's a 110.00 charge for some kind of "relocation fee"....
This is all pretty messed up for having 0 communication w the company making changes on me? Is that even legal?

Very shady company. Made me think I would save all this money. I compared my bills to friends that have the main providers in Edmonton, I had a higher cost and rate. Offering gift cards for 5 star reviews. Slow response time with customer service. Unethetical company. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH ENERGY FOR LESS
