Ross and his Team do great work. He came out and gave me the truth about what I wanted to do and what would work and what would not work. No beating around the bush.
Once the process got started they told me what they needed I did it and when ATCO needed to be contacted or permits I got CC’ed so I knew what was going on then could sign with full knowledge of what I was doing.
System is great and doing its job. So far with the production coming back I will have a power bill maybe 3 months of the year in the middle of winter and they will also be reduced by 30-40% and will see how the credit system works as it’s not calculated in these numbers either.

So pleased with the service we received from Empower Energy Solar. Ross walked us through the whole process and gave us estimates for various options. We chose to upsize our system slightly and don’t regret it. The install was efficiently and professionally done. After our first full year in service, our system covered all of its costs and made a few thousand over expenses. Highly recommended!

Super happy with our solar panel purchase. Ross is very patient answering all our questions, and has helped us every step of the way with the grant and loan process with the federal government. The team that did the install, led by Peter, were very polite, kept us informed, and were very fast and efficent (taking a whole day less to install then they initially thought). After the panels were installed, Ross showed us how to read the meter-and even gave us tips like using your dishwasher and washing machine and dryer during sunlight hours (which makes perfect sense-we have just never thought about it before). We haven't recieved our first bill yet since they were installed-but this might be the first bill ever I'm looking forward to receiving from Enmax lol. Between their app and reading the meter-we know that we are currently over producing. Thanks again for all your help! We cant recommend Ross and Empower Energy enough!

March 27 th was a very good day for us as it was our anniversary of our solar panel system/ bc hydro billing cycle. We have just been through around 15 months of producing our own power with a system designed and built by Ross and his team, and every bill was only $13.78 every 2 months, we proudly show any one who is interested. But today we had our credit shown and it was just over $1100 dollars for the year. There is so much misinformation floating around about solar panels , wind turbines, evs ect. ect, that the level of uncertainty and nervousness was almost unbearable. The part that was the hardest was who to believe!!! After meeting Ross and having him take the time, and extra time, again, and again we decided to take the plunge and go for it. I can say and recommend anyone who is interested should without any hesitation call Ross and go for it. Without a doubt everything he said about how was 100% accurate, everything he said about cost was 100% accurate, and everything he said about performance was100% accurate. This is a pretty rare thing to find in today’s world and I am the happiest bc hydro customer around.
