Sean our energy advisor came immediately to do the audit. The problem begins after that. I have called several times and he will not return phone calls nor will he answer his phone. It has been over 1 year and I have not received my rebate even thought he said that we qualified for our heat pump installation. Stay away from this company and Sean as they are a scam collecting money for the audit and that’s all the service you get. Please do yourself a favour and find another energy auditor. This auditor was recommended and called by BOONSTRA to perform the audit and they said they would take care of the audit process, all empty promises.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Can I give these scam artists zero stars please? My assessment was done in March 2023 and I still do not have my rebate. I have done everything within my power to communicate with this "company". I paid them for their "service". I have dozens upon dozens of text messages filled with empty promises of when work would be completed. Looking at reviews, it seems to be completely random as to who gets to have the service they paid for done properly. The majority, like me, have to waste their time chasing the "advisor" Sean, Enbridge, the service company that subcontracted these con artists, for over a year to get them to simply complete the work and get my rebate in hand. I will be happy to amend this review once my rebate is received. Until then, I advise anybody reading this to run as far away from this "company" and never look back.

Impossible to get ahold of. Post retrofit evaluation was completed in January 2024, it is now August and our status on greener homes grant hasn't been updated beyond post-retrofit requested.
Emails nd phone calls go unanswered to the main company and the guy who comes out to do the assessment.

To comment on another reviews statement of " I got my money, Don’t know what you all are doing wrong." These people aren't doing anything wrong. The paperwork is left in the hands of the company, and they are either not submitting it properly, or not submitting it at all. This is not an issue at the fault of the customers.

This company as not responded to multiple phone messages and emails. We have spoken to the assessment person who insured he would get them to call us. They have not. We have been waiting 3 months to schedule an energy audit after our furnace was installed. If we lose the rebate due to this terrible company, we will involve lawyers. Also very disappointed that M&K Heating set the first audit up and chose to use this company. We would never have with them.

Sean was efficient did the pre and post assessment very thoroughly and quick. It did not take much time at all to complete these in person assessments. He was very knowledgeable and provided the information you needed to be aware of the program. My report was submitted and I got a confirmation from Enbridge that I will be getting my rebate cheque in 20 weeks. You just need to be patient.

Update: I just got my rebate cheque for $7100. Sean submitted my application in January and I got my money as discussed. Don’t know what you all are doing wrong.

Would give zero stars if able to.
Lack of customer service have been asking them to provide us with the post retrofit information.
Only to be continuously given the run around, our service was completed in August 2021 and we are still waiting for them. we've contacted Sean numerous times asking for the information which he consistently says he has done but is not in the office to upload it unto the Greener Homes site.
Also have called the office only to be told they will look into it and promise to call back. I have also left a message with the owner Ed who has also not called back. And of course took our money without hesitation.
My suggestion would be not to trust these people to do anything for you.

Update: Still waiting for confirmation that I will be receiving a rebate. It’s been almost 2 years of calling and emailing and no one responds.
Don’t be fooled by the reviews that service is actually good, it’s not their fault, and tell you to just be patient. It’s lies. Run from this company.

Absolutely disgusted with their lack of customer service and communication. I have been strung along for months trying to get a post assessment. I have called numerous times asking for an appointment and have been told someone will call me back. No one ever calls. The last straw for me was finally getting an appointment and then no one showing up and no follow up calls. I will be looking for a different company to finish the assessment.
I strongly do not recommend.

My parents had 3 units installed over a year ago that provides air in summer and heat in winter (Actual name of units have slipped my mind at the moment). They were promised a rebate of $5 600 going through these people. They have yet to get their rebate and keep getting promises made that never go through. Their latest is it will be a larger rebate through Enbridge, but conveniently on that day last week the persons email had been hacked....how convenient. I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone. The work was fine, but that is the only good part of this company
