The quality of the soil hasn't been the most consistent (one dump could be highly balanced, and another is not at all). Definitely call ahead as well as we tried to drop off organics during their supposed hours, and they were very much closed.

The soul is of very poor quality. I have 3 sets of beds for vegetables and used this in one. The plants are 1/4 of the size, yellow and unhealthy looking. I’ve had to augment this soil with manure, compost and liquid fertilizer.

I regularly use this convenient central port alberni location for free disposal of most non invasive yard waste.
They are always super friendly and helpful and they offer a wide variety of landscaping materials like dirt, gravel, mulch, etc. at competitive prices.

Picked up a truck load of bark mulch and Gerrit and the gentleman driving the bobcat were super helpful and friendly. Was in and out with a top notch product in less then 10 mins. Great staff, great product!
