Compost will be available for free pick up by residents of Toronto beginning Saturday, April 5, 2025 and end Saturday, October 4, 2025 (while quantities last)

Pick-up will be available on Saturdays only from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Limit of 1 cubic metre per vehicle. Residents are required to bring their own container and shovel.

Disco yard has always been a great place to take my disposables like paint, electronics etc. Love that they are open weekends and August 13 they are providing special services including the Salvation Army. Special thanks to Gennaro, Mr G for his patience in explaining the services at Disco Yard and special event at Disco yard on August 13.

Staff are very friendly. easy to get around. My only problem was they weren't open. I wanted to get rid of some stuff we cleaned out of the garage over the weekend. Went on the website (not just Google) to see times of operation. Mon-fri 6am-6pm. But this is not right. I ended up at the office to find out they are not open Mondays.

Everything you want in a waste transfer station! The staff are chill, helpful in explaining where to drop certain materials, or recommend alternative options for prohibited materials. I worked in this area for years but just recently dropped off some waste and was amazed by how massive the facility interior was (I am bias to large industrial structures though as they are just cool af). I can't speak to the smell, as I was wearing a p95 respirator the whole time, and would recommend you do the same as it is a waste transfer station, but I would say it is relatively clean and well maintained.

We brought waste dropped infront of the local Canadian Tire and were refused to recycle the waste. Very disappointing when trying to do the right thing.

Very friendly staff, fast and easy service. I didn’t mind the price. It was worth it (40$ for 250Kg) solved a lot of issues for me trying to clean my garage.
