STAY AWAY! - This location lowballed me for double insulated wire and quoted me $0.8/lb for it (see first image, phone number is also the same). I'd recommend "Global Metals and Iron Inc" as they gave me $1.9/lb for the same wire (see second image).

Good business, staff are always there to greet you immediately and help you unload scrap from your truck.

Unfortunately the staff working there attempted to scam me by not paying the right price for a specific type of metal. When inquiring, myself and other customers were verbally abused and told to “f*** off” and not come back.

It’s unfortunate that the customer service skills of this business aren’t looked after and I would strongly suggest for anyone visiting to be very careful with whom they are dealing with (Asian lady who has been apparently working for “15 years” and white gentleman both declined giving me their names and were unable to identify the aluminum which was brought to them and proceeded to count it as steel)

There are many other junk yards in the city and I would strongly suggest paying a visit to others if you’d like to get more than 75% of the money that you’re supposed to get.

Don’t waste your time and efforts at this location!

After comparing other recycling businesses, I realize this place would be the last one to go... The staff at this location (an Asian lady and a white guy) seem to be very rude, one day I came to sell some metal and they seemed so much in a rush/pushy, up to the point that when my son and I were trying to move something really heavy and we couldn't do it fast, the white guy started yelling us to hurry up while he got off from the forklift and grabbed the bulky item and flipped it on the floor and he almost caugth my son's foot while the heavy item slammed on the floor. I would reccomend another place.

Only been there a couple times over the last 2yrs. Always takes a while except today. Guy starts yelling at me cause I backed in. Maybe they should of told me NOT TO BACK in when I walked up & asked if I was next. Worked out for the better as they bumped me to the back of the line I ended up going to Manville (Birch/Eglin area). What a great place, friendly staff came right up told me where/how to park . I had followed another guy into the lot & they still had me unloaded, weighed & paid in about 10min. .
NEVER AGAIN DANDASS!

Terrible service, prices are lower per tonne here than most other places.

CMI is the best and they won't try to rip you off.

Must recommend for people who want to sell any metal stuff
