The best and only place to go in the Tri-city area in my opinion! The staff are super friendly and the parking is pretty easy. I remember going to a depot in Poco, having a difficult time finding a parking spot, sorting my stuff in the rain and not having a proper place to wash my hands after. Such a difference!

This depot is the cleanest by far. You can literally sleep on the floor. Not to mention the tables, spotless. Friendly and honest staff. I drive up there once every 2 months Even though I live in East Vancouver. Highly recommended.

Being disabled, there are lots of times when I can't sort and count my own bags (Being on disability, I do pickups from folks who donate them too). So I'll drop them off here, and wait for them to be credited to my account. Sometimes it takes a couple days depending which day I was there. Out of the 3 locations I generally use, I use this one most often. They are the quickest, even when I've dropped off on a Saturday.

Their staff are so kind, and friendly. Some will even joke a bit. One lady even remembers me, and will often ask where my daughter is. We always acknowledge each other when I come in, and she was so excited for me when my daughter recently got married. When I say this depot has the nicest staff, I put them at #1 for all the locations near me.

This is also the CLEANEST return-it depot I've ever been to. They are always wiping down tables, carts and sweeping the floor.

Understandably, the floor can get quite sticky in all these types of businesses, but they can't be mopping the floor all day long. I think people would be slipping and falling on a slick floor after mopping. Just be careful, and slow down when going in or out. I was sorting at the 2nd table one day last year, when someone pushed their cart in really fast and angry like. They lost control after cresting the hump and smashed into the first table, pushing it on me and I was pinned until someone could move it, and hold me up till I could get my cane to stay upright. I got X-rays because of a bone thing, but it was just bruising. So please be kind. And if you see the lady with the smart car, say hi. It helps keep the day brighter when little leprechauns driving non-binary leprechaun cars enter your world 😂 and ask for one of our stickers if you need a dogsitter. A sitter sticker, if you will 🤦I'll see myself out.

I give this location DOUBLE stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I always go to this location as the parking is so much better than the Port Coquitlam location. And definitely seems to be way more organized and ready to go for you also.

I've always had friendly service at this location, and as for a Bottle Depot goes, it's way more cleaner than most of the other ones.

More parking compared to the Poco location. If you are using the express drop off service don't forget to scan your labels after printing them off and place them on your bags. Scanning your own labels before handing your bags in is new. I saw many people today who did not know and quickly took their bags back to scan them. Overall, very fast and efficient process when using the express drop off service.

Sticky floors at every visit, but otherwise this is an efficient location and not too crowded. Parking is convenient and we’re happy to be able to recycle with only a short drive from home. No hot water in the sink which is a bummer in the winter.

I'm really annoyed at the jerks who work here who tried to tell me how to parent my child.

I set him on a clean countertop whilst doing the automated bottle return because I didn't want him walking around on the sticky gross floor. The fellow accepting the bottle returns (who was waaaaay younger than me so he gets a pass) freaked out and said he was going to fall off. Like, dude, you obviously don't have kids of your own and don't understand that he is far too old to randomly fall off of a counter. If he wants down, he'd ask to get down and then I'd pick him up. If he was bold enough to jump off alone, he'd land on his feet just fine.

So whatever, maybe some people don't understand kids well. However, then an old lady who worked there came over and started putting her arms in a radius around my son trying to shield him from falling off. It made him super uncomfortable to have a stranger in his close personal space like that with her arms spread wide. I asked her to please distance herself, and she asserted "he going to fall! I no want him to fall." Like dude, no. Not at his age. Either you don't have children of your own, or you do and you bubble wrapped them until they turned nineteen and stopped speaking to you. It's so hard in these situations to be assertive without being aggressive. I tried to explain without losing my cool in front of my kid that he's fine. They argued with me. At first I thought it was a language barrier, but it turned out it was an entitlement + "general understanding of child development" barrier.

God, I wouldn't even come here if curbside recycling took bottles and electronics. 🤦‍♀️

Only open until 5, so a working person can only drop off on weekends. What a terrible idea. Edit: Ya that's literally exactly what I'm saying, did you read what I wrote? I'm suggesting staying open later so you're available 7 days a week to working people. If you were to shift your operating hours by an hour or 2 later on weekdays your facility would be more accessible 7 days a week to people with jobs. (Most people) It could reduce your weekend spike and be more efficient for your customers.
