I had a number of batteries to recycle and the staff was beyond great! A lady by the name of Colet answered the phone (sorry if I got that wrong), but my initial call and following call was helpful and friendly; Same as when I went in and talked to her. After I made it around the side a fella by the name of, I believe, Dwayne (sorry if I got spelling wrong) got me sorted very quickly and he even went out of his way to lend a hand when I wasn't expecting him to! I would never expect that kind of kindness from anyone, but, the fact that he did that was really quite nice. Overall a great experience and I will be going to them for any of my scrap recycling in the future and recommending them to people and businesses I talk to! Cheers all!

I have been trying to get an explanation or apology as to why I am being discriminated against by Secure Energy. Every time I have dealt with this company the yard guy "Randy" has been beyond disrespectful and rude. I simply asked why my specific materials were being undervalued, and why I was being overcharged by their unbalanced scales. When I questioned what was very blatant theft I was told I was a nuisance and to take my business to Alberta knowing that they are the closest recycling company for miles. I even reached out to Robin and a few higher ups who gave me a petty excuse as to why his business is being run by incompetent people. I followed proper protocol when dealing with this company. I even went as far as to gain authorization to conduct my business by Alderman Kyle Dallum and the MDAR (Metal Dealers and Recyclers.)

I shop locally and am proud to do so but I won't be degraded when trying to make a living.

I have dealt with recyclers across Canada for over 40 years and have never been subjected to this amount of ignorance or theft until this company. Secure Energy needs to change the way they do business, and the way they treat their customers. This is not the way we do things in the Kootenays.

I do not recommend this company, its worth your time to drive to Alberta, you would spend less money in gas than they'd try to steal from your pockets.

Tossed bare bright into #2 bin and downgraded the lot after I had separated beforehand. Very glad I only brought in a small percentage of what I had figured I’d get fleeced a little being my first time at the yard but not that badly. Will be bringing the remainder to Calgary.

We arrived late by 5 minutes after closing we had called in advance and had asked if we arrived a few minutes after closing time they would be able to still assist us. When we arrived they then told us we no longer be assisted terrible attitudes poor customer service skills.
