Staff is really great and accommodating. They count quickly, and you're through even faster if you've pre-counted. If you go during peak times, be prepared to wait a bit, especially after a holiday. It would be nice to have more registers, as there seems to be enough staff to run a third, but probably not enough counter space to do so.

Amazing staff that work really hard but it's a shame there are double standards.

One day I had my cans in flats which were pre-counted but they still wanted me to use the machines to put them in 1 at a time.

Today I go and there is a huge line up for the machines so I wait my turn. I go to the till to turn in my milk canisters which are too big for the machines but there is 2 people in front of me making the employees count each of their bags and all the cans inside. After 5minutes I asked the employee why I waited in line for the machines if people can just come to the till and hold up the line so 2 customers can get their bottles sorted. The employee says " I don't know what to tell you".

The staff are friendly with the place being well organized and clean. You can recycle more then just your drink containers that require a deposit. The facility offers recycling of paper, packaging, plastics, cardboard and styrofoam. They also do the electronic recycling, lightbulbs, and small appliances. The operation is automated for your empties that required a deposit. Just bring your empties clean and start depositing them into the machine reads the UPC code, tally them up and gives you a receipt for scanning at the ATM for your money.

Busy most of the time. But the line moves quickly. I find the staff helpful & friendly. The biggest downside is the smell of old beer & fermented wine coolers. Rinse you bottles & cans people.

Even before the reno it was pretty good for a recycling depot, but they have the new machines so you stick your cans and bottles in a tube and it tallies it up on the side and prints off a slip that you scan and it pays you out, fast easy and clean. There's also good handwashing stations and places to recycle mostly anything else beyond bottles and cans. Best recycling depot I've been to.

Only used there outside recycling, never had any issues. Always easy access and polite staff.
