Visited today and had to get a new card.
The woman who was running the scale was amazing and such a delight! Great service.
She made me smile and chatted to multiple customers at a time while I was inside getting our new card. She made it look so easy and fun while she did it. Didn't get her name but I'll never forget her calling me duck 🙂

Normally dealing with the Clairmont Landfill is a friendly experience. The lady on today Aug 10 has been nothing but a hassle every single time we have experienced her there. Dump closes at 6, turned us around because it was after 5:30. (Then say you close 5:30 🙄) No wonder so many people dump garbage in the bush by our acreage. Every single time she has been there we have been faced with friction and delays as ours and everyone’s load fully sifted through. I appreciate thoroughness, but it’s over the top. I would like to reiterate… everyone else has been great, friendly and informative.

Upstanding personable staff, super clean and organized area. We loved having the “share shelf” for usable items. There’s even a little garden and picnic area. Wow!

Be very careful when dealing with these people. They will wait till you exit your vehicle to pay to get your after weight to be able to charge you for a few extra pounds of waste.

Threw out 6 empty boxes and 1 box with a normal kitchen waste bag in it.. charged me for over 300 pounds of weight. When at max was 50 pounds.

They charged me for me own personal weight as didn't take a weight reading until AFTER my body was off the scale.
