Moose jaw is a beautiful small city with a rich history. However when dealing with the City of Moose Jaw the glamour of the city fades fast. Last summer they missed street sweeping on our block. It was almost fall before they got it done. I just returned from winter vacation to find they graded a wall of Ice across my driveway. It's almost a week since I asked it to be removed and nothing has been done. It is next to impossible to contact anyone there. I believe their website says they strive for excellent service but they are falling very short of that.

They were removing snow at 3:55 am on caribou street west, making so much noise that my poor fiancé could not sleep and he has work today. There was no snow left it was all melted but they still came to our block of caribou ONLY ( didn’t plow anywhere but one single block that had no snow) it is against the bylaws to run non emergency vehicles at night. I will be reporting this issue. Please use common sense and do not wake people up. Whoever was running that grater against the cement at 3:55 am, needs to seriously be fired. It is illegal to do this at that hour please follow your own guidelines

Been phoning every other day about getting a street plowed because of the horrendous ruts and almost hitting parked cars on numerous occasions. It's been a month and still no action taken by the city!! It's ridiculous and just waiting for an accident to happen!
