Trying to find an electric ic company in chilliwack that had installed my BC Hydro air conditioners last summer. I needed to speak with them since I didn’t get an instruction manual. This man went out of his way to help me get in touch with a different electric company in his city. I am vision impaired. And he made sure I had the number to call before we ended our call. If I lived in Chilliwack I’d be constantly promoting both this company and the one he helped me to locate. The world has become so afraid of losing business to competition these days they’ve forgotten how to just trust that how you run business is how you will be perceived in that business. This company has not forgotten that approach. Thank you for helping me. If I lived there I’d not hesitate to call you for electrical support. It truly is wonderful to see the good values of how you move around in this world have not been lost on most people.

Called and spoke with Mark and told him our issue; an inaccessible GFCI in the crawl space that must have tripped for our shed and heat tape. I told him no panic as it can be repaired before the end of July, that would be awesome. He explained they were busy this week and possibly next. Surprisingly, I got a phone call the next day as one of their guys had some spare time.

Rob came out and solved the issue promptly and for a very fair price. We now have an accessible GFCI as per code and easy to reset should a problem occur.

1. Answering his phone on a Friday at 5:30pm, while out on another job with the calmest, kindest disposition. Instantly relaxing a defeated and broken woman who had a stove/electrical issue a day and a half before having to pull off a dinner for her Grams’ 80’th Birthday celebration.

2. For showing up in the dark after said job and again having the most endearing and helpful attitude one just hopes to get when dealing with home owner issues that are just not in your wheelhouse.

3. He not only helped my husband fix the issue but gave him the knowledge to help himself if things arise in the future.

Friendly and professional from start to finish. I made an appointment to have an old light fixture replaced with a ceiling fan, and asked to be called if there was a cancellation in the meantime. The very next day, a technician called back and said he was available to do the installation right away. It worked out perfectly and we're well-pleased with the service and the result.

Had some wiring issues with thermostats in my house and called to have the company to have someone come take a look. It's been a busy time of year for trades (also needed a plumber and got the same response there) but they made a time to come out as quickly as possible. Everyone I dealt with were polite, friendly and professional. Issue was troubleshooted and fixed quickly and was explained well. I had a strange power issue in my living room that resulted in my decision to replace the electrical sockets. While doing the work I noticed signs of overheating. Melted wires and some scorch marks. Potentially serious stuff. This is where my capabilities end and the need to call in the professionals begins.

I called C.E.S. the next morning and spoke to Mark who was very polite and friendly. Despite being very busy he was able to sent Rob to my home almost immediately to have a look. Rob came and got straight to work; he clearly knew his stuff. He fixed up the issue quickly and fielded all my questions regarding the possible cause of the problem. Needless to say this entire transaction was educational, and any time a job cost less than I expect, I'm a happy man.
