The service provided by Certified Flooring Installation Inc. was terrible, and I will never use Home Depot Services again. My experience with them started off great. They came to my house and gave me an estimate on vinyl plank flooring for my kitchen. To start the service, I had to pay in full upfront. Upon paying in full, I was told that the materials had to be ordered and they took weeks to arrive. I was told that the materials could only be delivered between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and someone had to be home to receive them. It was not possible for me to be home to receive the delivery, so they delivered to my garage instead. When I got home, I noticed that 4 of the 12 boxes of vinyl plank flooring were damaged. In addition, all of the white ¼" round trim pieces looked like someone touched them with charcoal on their hands. You could see full fingerprints.

It is inexcusable that their warehouse knowingly sent, and their third-party delivery service delivered damaged materials. After calling Certified Flooring Installation Inc. and informing them I had received damaged materials, I was told my appointment to have the floor installed would have to be canceled so they could order new materials. After weeks passed, I called for an update and was told they had to check with their warehouse. The next day, I received a call stating that the materials had arrived, and another delivery had been arranged. Just so happened I was home when the third-party delivery service showed up, and again there were problems with the ¼" round trim pieces. According to the delivery person, they gave him the wrong size, and he refused to accept it. During my conversation with Certified Flooring Installation Inc. Due to the fact that I paid in full upfront, I request some form of compensation for all the inconveniences I have experienced. I was told a request had been sent to the company's general manager, but he never called.

As I inspected the new materials they delivered, I noticed the FedEx shipping tag, so I tracked the boxes and the shipping information showed that the flooring had been delivered three weeks ago, so why did I have to wait three weeks and call for a status update if they had the materials for three weeks? When Certified Flooring Installation called to confirm the installation date, they told me they could not get an installer and had to change it again. Again, I requested compensation for my inconvenience and was told my request had been forwarded to the general manager, who has yet to contact me. An independent contractor arrived on the installation day, quickly distanced himself from Certified Flooring Installation Inc., and completed the installation successfully. I prefer hiring the subcontractor instead of Certified Flooring Installation Inc. It is unlikely that I would do business with Home Depot again if Certified Flooring Installation Inc. is used.

Do not use CFI flooring if you are a contractor with multiple jobs that need done. The only person that was helpful and professional was the initial person who came to measure. He bent over backwards for us trying to get jobs completed timely. However, the scheduling department and upper management seem not to care when and if jobs get scheduled. I’m at a point where I’m trying to receive refunds for jobs I’ve paid for. The promise was install after 10 days of payments. I’m going on 3-4 weeks. The company made a decision that any office from any region can call to schedule instead of scheduling only with your regional office. This has caused insane confusion for them internally and I get phone calls from Kentucky, Tennessee, or Michigan for scheduling. That is frustrating for us. I’ve gotten hung up on from the scheduling departments. The customer service alone is enough to make me not want to use them again. It’s clear they don’t have the system or man power to handle multiple jobs.

I worked with Certified Flooring through Home Depot for the flooring through my whole house. I had some issues with the measurers initially but I am super satisfied:) The installers were super friendly, courteous and accommodating. My floors look beautiful they did everything in a timely manner. The office management and the installers were very professional:) I will recommend them to my friends and family:)

We had a great experience with CFI services. We have replaced our flooring with new hardwood floors through home depot. CFI particularly Eric and his team did a great job finishing the installation in less than 2 days.
The result of their work looks great and shows their long years of experience in this service. I would like to thank again Eric and CFI for the great result. We will look forward to replace the flooring in our bathroom with new tiles soon.

If I could give them a zero I would. Two Fridays in a row they did not show up to install my carpeting. They also did not communicate that. They are very hard to get in the phone as well. Last Friday the installer went “MIA” in their words and they could not get a hold of him. This Friday we were supposed to be his first and only stop and he did not show during that timeframe and when I called they said he was having van troubles and wouldn’t be there until between 1-3pm. Again, no communication from the installers or company. I told them when I called for an update to cancel my order. Karen

So far this place has been a joke I've been "working" with Maria she has 0 customer service skills doesn't even answer the phone with company name. She does not communicate home Depot needs to find another company to work with.

Had new laminate wood flooring installed. The install date was fast. The flooring technician did an amazing and professional job removing the old pergo and installing new plank flooring

I found CFI through Home Depot as they were the chosen installation company for my install. I had a very good experience with a hardwood floor installation. Frank (Fawzi) and his team were outstanding! They were polite, respectful and cleaned up well afterwards. I had 2 large rooms and a hallway completed in one 8 hour day and then just a few hours the second day. I would highly recommend CFI!
