Used to be very good with pricing and honesty. However the new guy sorting metals in the warehouse the past couple months really sucks and is way too picky, nitt picks every little thing. I had brass coated in chrome and he gave me a zinc price. Big no no. Hes just looking at the color and not using a file to confirm what type of metal it is. I'll be going back to metalogics from now on

Now I have been scrap metal for many years many years and I must say arthur kaminsky at age 69 or 70 is by the far the biggest loser ever his son josh is alright but forget the warehouse where you take your aluminum copper and brass he can't even pay you dealer for your clean steel or auto cast for your break rotors no apparently its all shred and he gets mad at you in the office for even suggesting your not paying me the right price and says the price ain't different or your wasting fuel driving around yet work pays for my fuel again josh is alright nice dude but I would and head over 170 north queen metalogics a very nice place with great customer service where you will actually get the right price for your metal without a temper tantrum from the owner I differ all my subcontractors there despite the fact that canadian iron is extremely close ill take the hit on gas I don't pay for but make more in the end I do many contarcts very close and plumbers and electrians ask me about scrap metal and say don't go to jane dundas and they all laugh and say you're right you got a convient location but the maturity of 7 year old Arthur many other options again avoid at all costs

Be aware that they charge $175 per bin, this was never mentioned when bin asked, never given tally after pick up. For 5000 lbs of steel in two bins paid $65. Don’t deal with people who don’t give you full disclosure.
Note: They responded saying it was 1500 lbs of steel, I have their receipt showing they weighted 5000 lbs.
If it was 1500 lbs, they would charge me for the bins. They never mention about not disclosing the delivery charge upfront.
