Had Extremely bad experience with the woman working at cash.She needed numerous Personal ID' s which she never mentioned to me to bring the next time in order to get the cash payout! Once we finally came back again after 3 times she paid out the money but didn't pay me entire money of $63! She gave me $62! She then claimed that she gave it to me which she clearly did not! Totally rude person and outright nasty and then she slammed back my ID'S back at counter!
Very unprofessional and very unpleasant person.Will never be back to this place!
I would give zero zero zero stars!!!!!

It was a decent experience for a first timer. Staff was friendly and gave me cash on the spot.
FYI for first timers! No rubber on rims, they only take Propane tanks if valve is removed or you drill a hole in it. And most importantly! Separate your thin metal from your thicker stuff. (You'll get paid more for the thick stuff if you weigh it separately)
All around decent place to go 9/10 would recommend 👌

Originally thought this place was extremely slow but it turns out there's power outages going on throughout the city at various locations... Hence the reason why they were so slow today. My first time here and the lady printed me off a ticket at the scale house and told me to either come back later, tomorrow or they would call me. They called me back letting me know they had cash and are able to pay customers out. Their service is pretty good and they kept their word.

The gentleman working the scale on the non-ferrous side was amazing! Super polite, extremely courteous. The lady working the cash, however…worst customer experience I have ever had in my entire life!!! She was rude, abrasive, dismissive and outright nasty!!! Just because of her I will never, ever go back!

super clean yard. very friendly staff even though I am a small potatoes customer, they remember my name.

three large platform scales get you in and out in a hurry with cash in your pocket.

checked out other yards and came back for the service, friendliness and cleanliness.

Would like to say that Calgary metals is a very orofesional company.. the staff is very responsive, respectful and always ready to lend a hand.. the cash out girls at main yard and. Non ferrous are amazing to deal with and cute I must say!

Today I brought some brass to Calgary metals and they gave me the money for plumbing brass which is a very low grade of brass I am not impressed at all with Calgary Metals I'm actually very disappointed because I dealt with these people for years
