The Hodgepodge Lodge (to the left of the enviro station, in the same lot) is absolutely amazing. The volunteers that run the place are always so friendly and quick to help. It's fabulous to be able to drop off items to be upcycled, AND it's a treasure trove of things to pick up and reuse! I find so many craft items, toys, glassware, etc. for various occasions. Absolutely recommend for anyone who is doing a project - stop by before buying things!

I have been going to this facility since it opened and have not had a bad experience and today was no different eccept a young person named Riya B. came to assist me with a great big smile and a positive can do attitude. This took my experience there to the next level and to say I was impressed says a lot.We need more of that from our youger generation. Keep it up Riya. I know the world expects big things from you and from what i witnessed you will not disappoint. Keeping it Real Craig.

Usually we have a great experience, and we love the Hodge Podge Lodge. Unfortunately today a worker was very rude and abrupt with my husband and I when we accidentally put something in a garbage can that was apparently not a public use garbage can. The can was not labeled as such and we simply misunderstood the instructions from the volunteers in HPL. We immediately retrieved our garbage when we were told it wasn’t meant to be put there, we just felt very taken aback by the immediate rude and condescending tone of the worker who corrected our easily fixable mistake. Hopefully this person (an older lady) was just having a rough day. We will still be back for all of our recycling needs, just hope to be treated with more kindness and grace next time!

Extremely well organized and laid out for quick and easy drop off. Staff are helpful and are happy to lend a hand if you have any questions. Just make sure to check online before coming for their hours of operation.

Just moved here to Sherwood park and of course there's all the cardboard and styrofoam! The two gentlemen working were amazing. Super friendly and very helpful!! It was a wonderful experience!

Excellent they were open on Easter weekend for the community but as I was reading the signage to figure out where my items are supposed to go a worker (man) barked at me in a very aggressive rude tone where to put my items. Clearly not happy to be working but that shouldn't become the communities / peoples fault or we shouldn't be subject to that behaviour. 3 stars was generous in my eyes because after barking at me I witnessed him bark at several others and when I tried to say thank you for his assistance he just ignored me and walked away from me. Hire better people!

Excellent service. I usually strip down appliances and items to their components so easy to get in and out. Once in a while I will palatalize my paint and steel products and the guys provide a forklift to drop stuff into the ins out back so I don't strain my back. A good experience.
