I came from Caledonia because I was making a purchase in Brantford that required all my cargo space. When they asked where I came from I was honest and they refused to take my garbage even after I explained the situation. They didn’t care. Easy $10 for them that they weren’t interested in. I guess it’s better to lie to these people.

This garbage service is disgusting, I’m more than willing to come drop my garbage at the front door just because you left mine and took my neighbours garbage. If it’s 5 bags per household and it’s an attached townhouse with different unit numbers, the bags are different colours WHY WOULD THEY TAKE 2 OF MINE AND THE NEIGHBOURS 3? To make a total of 5 bags? They literally left my garbage out front for a second time. I have 6 bags… the neighbours have 3 bags. TAKE THEIR GARBAGE AS 3, TAKE 5 OF MINE AND I WOULD HAVE UNDERSTOOD IT WAS ONE TOO MANY BUT WHEN YOU PICK UP 3 black bags and two white bags thinking it’s for the same. No disrespect to sanitation workers but the ones that run my route are too dumb to do this job. Now there’s maggots and flies from one of those bags and my other neighbours a few houses down!

Went to take reno material to dump from my daughter's place in hagersville as it was only place open on Saturday. Told that they wouldn't take my waste as I wasn't from Brantford. Asked where I could and got rude responses.

Disappointed, I use this landfill regularly, unfortunately, this time traffic was bad. It was raining and I had to make a stop across town to pick up a few items to deliver to the landfill, after driving almost an hour to make the stop and then arrive at the landfill the gate was closed and it was only 455 as I was driving up, I understand it is late, but if the website says the dump is open till 5 PM if you are able to dump your items and be out before five then the gate needs to be open until 5 PM. It’s really misleading, especially when you’re rushing to beat the clock and you do but the staff just wanna go home early on a Friday. For a city service like this, the management should be better, or more accurate website description of closing at 4:45 PM. Today I lost over $100 in fuel and a couple hundred dollars in time because of this lack of professionalism.
