For years, it has been our dream to install solar panels and do our part in creating a smaller footprint on the planet. Blackline Power made this process easy and understandable. They're masters at their craft and know how to navigate the many details involved from start to finish, including the particulars of the Green Homes Energy program, securing building permits and coordinating with the various regulatory bodies to get us powered up. Blackline was always available to answer questions and make recommendations. Their installation team was professional, efficient, friendly and simply ‘got the job done’. It has now been over a year since Blackline Power installed a 10kW net metering solar system at our house in Meaford, ON. The system has worked very well throughout with no issues. During installation in winter, Rob and his team did a great job and worked in very difficult conditions to complete the installation. Joy was very accessible and helpful during planning and with documentation for federal incentives. She was very patient answering questions. There was some confusion about how the contract with Hydro worked, but I think that has been an issue with Hydro customer service for net metering.

Our 10 kW system from Blackline Power has been operating flawlessly for over 10 months. It looks like we're on track to produce over 14 MWh in our first year! All our power cost and a chunk of our gas bill have already disappeared!
Joy and Rob Black are outstanding people for a homeowner to work with. From design services, permits, installation and commissioning, they made our project really straight forward. It is obvious that Blackline Power's focus on delivering the highest quality system to meet a customer's needs is a major reason that home based solar power production in Canada is now so desirable.
