Went to trade in bottles and cans the staff was very rude and not very friendly made 2 trips in both staff members too rude next time it's to sicamous

Brilliant place. I am in there lots for Shuswap Paws Rescue and the staff are so kind and friendly. Thank you Ky, Nathan and Courtney you all rock. There's always soap and water to wash your hands after and carts are sanitized regularly. My son gets to play with Muffin the kind cat too. thank you for caring about your work.

It's the only place in town. Somewhat dysfunctional. Staff are friendly but unwilling to assist (i.e. do you have an area so I can donate my bottles? Response - I don't know). For those dropping off recycles, they're like a bunch of banshees. They're either rude or oblivious to basic manners. They are quick to smack their lips or give you stink-eye.

They take a large selection of items that would otherwise end in the trash at the waste transfer stations: paper, plastics, tin, glass, electronics, chemicals/paints. There is a large flat carpark for easy access. Not a place for fun. Hard to see what they need.

Good depot. I dont mind sorting my own cans and bottles, at least I know I'm getting a full $0.10 a beer can... Other places loke Chase, Sorrento,and Scotch Creek only give you $0.08 a can and you have to sort. Bull$#!?. But if you go there around 4-430pm and you have to sort, a few certain employees will give you harsh mean mugging faces and rush you along. Also, they lock the door before they close at 5 so no one else comes in to sort and return their recyclables. Kinda lame and low on the owners and staff. You work till 5. Keep the doors open till then. Its omly fair to the customers.
