We had a violin fitting and rental for our child ahead of her first class at Bella Music. From the moment we walked in, we could tell this was a professional store with history and heart. Jim, the owner, dedicated over an hour to providing extraordinary service to our family.

He carefully observed our child’s build to recommend the most suitable violin and bow, taught her how to hold the instrument properly, patiently explained how to care for it, and even gave us a brief introduction to the anatomy of the violin. It truly felt like we had our first lesson right there in the store.

I don’t usually write long positive reviews—after all, doing a good job should be expected. But Jim’s service went far beyond expectations. His dedication to his craft and the care he shows customers is something rarely seen these days. Thank you, Jim, for such a memorable and meaningful experience.

We rented a violin for my daughter today — it’s her very first time learning the instrument. The shop owner was incredibly patient and professional, taking the time to explain everything we needed to know about using and maintaining the violin. As beginners, we felt very welcomed and well taken care of. Truly excellent service! We’ll definitely come back and highly recommend this place to others.

I had a phenomenal time at Bella music. Went in to buy a double bass bow and couldn’t be happier with the final result. Jim was such a great help and an enormous treasure trove of information and help. Gave me plenty of time to try out his full supply, which is beautiful and extensive. My favourite spot in the city for boutique musical equipment and great to ah w stores like this in the area. Will definitely be returning if I ever need any tune up’s or repairs.
