They will take anything - almost. They will charge for a few items but overall a great spot to get rid of all your recyclable trash. Great for the environment and easy to access. Plus there is a donation spot run by the Salvation Army within the facility.

Great facility, quick access, streamlined process, friendly staff easy to drop off, sometimes there are long lines to enter the facility so try and go in the off hours if possible.
If you are dropping off Garbage or recycle, after you enter the facility, stay on the left side to bypass the building on your right and continue along road and drive up to the weigh scale to enter the garbage and recycle area of the facility.
If you are dropping off hazardous materials (paint, batteries etc.) once you enter the facility stay to the right side and park out front of the building. Staff will assist you in the next steps.

So I have been coming here daily since I have been doing renovations in my basement and also pick up of large items is not happening curbside due to Covid. Thus they have waived fees upto 100kg/per day visit. As you can see with the pylons they are enforcing social distancing within the compound which I can appreciate. But make sure you are coming early as it can get busy and more so with limited cars coming into the compound since social distancing protocols are in place. One suggestion is what I do is grab a coffee near by the McDonald's and aim to be here by 8am. Thus I am here 30mins before it opens and once I am done my coffee, it is 8:30am and your minimum wait is 30mins depending how many cars are ahead of you. There are not too many cars but yes there are people who come earlier to be one of the first ones in the compound.

Staff are generally helpful and give directions to where you need to dump your stuff in which area or bin.

Great place to dump garbage if you are from Mississauga or are doing a job in Mississauga. Make sure to separate your garbage as items have to be organized into different bins depending on what material is being thrown out ex. Wood, drywall, metal, recycling, garbage. A bit smaller and not as clean as the one on fewster but longer hours of operation and later closing time is nice.

We used to have a program at our Mississauga office where employees could drop off their dead batteries and CFL light bulbs to make it easy for them to dispose of easily. Today we were told that we could not collect these on behalf of our fellow employees and that each person must take their own batteries individually. That is a lot of individual trips.

I had some used household goods to drop off. It's pretty easy to do. Large bins that are labeled so you know which bin to use. There was an attendant as well if you had questions.

Easy process although the driving directions bit awkward ,to drop off oil then merge into the other line . Staff great always helpful .
