Riders add an additional 80% to your bill. Power goes out regularly. Phone system says they are short staffed yet no jobs advertised. Through and through a very poor company.

I wish I could give zero stars! TERRIBLE customer service!! They have a new auto-credit card payment system in Aug and I thought everything was ok until Jan when I got 4 months worth of a bill since it hadn't actually gone through Oct/Nov/Dec (I had paid myself manually in Sept). I paid the huge bill and was told that was the end of it. Now its February and they have now added Aug's bill from last year as well. When I called to ask about it they admitted the new system has some flaw that they are working hard on, they have a team in Alberta working on it. She said my bill was confusing so got the supervisor Viviane to call me back. Viviane helped create the new system. When she called she denied there were issues with their system and that it was just my cc issue. Told me the only way to avoid having this in the future is to pay my bill manually since their auto pay system isn't working for me.

Worst customer experience ever, since the implementation of a new system my auto payment has not work, was charged for cc decline( which didn’t happen) auto payment 2nd month didn’t work again & was told is was a banking issue with my cc not their new system, my bank show everything is good & now I can’t get the customer service rep to return my calls. Terrible terrible service.

WORST customer service I have ever experienced! I guess this is what happens when a required utility like power is a monopoly and has NO oversite body! We need a CRTC equivalent to enforce a minimum level of service and customer respect!

We've had such good customer service from everyone at Atco including the technicians. In fact, it was Atco that finally helped solve our issue with Northwestel. Nwtel took 6 months to put internet into our new house even though I called them every two weeks. Finally they blamed their issues on Atco who then sent out technicians twice to deal with, what was, of course, not their problem. Nwtel tried to blame Atco, yet Atco people just kept going the extra mile. Amazing customer service people!

Never sure if my bill indicates amount of power outages or amount owed for the billing cycle. Unreliability is all you can count on unfortunately 🙁
