Very impressed. I went there based on these reviews and brought a dump trailer full of metal scrap. When I met the owner, he advised me that I’d be better off with his competitor nearby and gave me directions. The other yard was better suited to a large load. Thank you A.S!

I have never in my life returned metal, but had a big pile that I had accumulated on my property.

I chose to bring it to AS as it was the closest yard to me.

I called first to see what the process was, owner was very polite on the phone and walked me through it.

Arrived the next morning and was happily received by the owner who directed my truck and trailer into the receiving area and promptly assisted me to unload.

Paid me what I am sure was fair price for my scrap and I was on my way.

Very easy process, friendly people all around including the other customers who were also dropping off.

Great scrap yard with the best price!

Terrible business ethics. Made a deal with the owner before loading the copper into the bins for weight. As we go to check weight he went back on his word trying to make it feel we cheated on the deal when he was the one loading the copper into the bin with us. Any copper we loaded he watched and acknowledged it was going into the right bin. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Stay away.
