We hired Amy to do our taxes. Amy charged us over $8,000 in accounting fees, claiming she saved us $90,000 in taxes. When we found a new accountant, we discovered that Amy's actions were in violation of tax laws. Now, we are facing high interest and penalties. We asked Amy for a refund because we need to refile our taxes, but Amy is unwilling to refund any money. We have already reported her actions to the CPA and hope that those who are considering Amy for their taxes will be cautious.
