Day 3 of no power for my child and myself.Hydro is a vital service and is included in our rent as its all inclusive. The lanlord is responsible for utilities as they are in his name and were up to date on rent. Sent them my lease and still haven't turned the power on. This is illegal in Ontario as its a vital service and us the tenants were never even told it was being turned off. My lease was given to them as proof 3 days ago and they said 7-10 business days to read my email. This is illegal in ontario and goes against our human rights/ its illegal.

Not able to give a lower rating than 1 star, or I would. They replaced hydro poles along our street (and in front of my home). they made a mess of the sidewalk with their installation leaving gravel and mud all over. I called customer service to ask them to clean it up. They said someone would call me back the next day. This was a week ago now and I have heard nothing. I will call the City and have them try and get some action out of Alectra. Absolutely terrible service.

Again today… Alectra was great! I had an issue with trees rubbing against the power lines and my house. I called and was told that I would have service within 2-4 hours. 1 1/2hours later a nice gentleman named Claude showed up to help. He was here a matter of 10 minutes and he was done. He was professional and kind, I say kind as I asked him questions along the way which he was happy to answer. Great service 👍

I am NOT impressed with this company it’s a horrible company and I wish I could change Hydro companies. If there was more than one. Their customer service people are rude! The last couple days that I’ve had with this company has been horrible and I would not. I would not refer them to anybody. I wish we had more than one company in Saint Catherine’s because I would definitely go and change to a different company. I am very very upset with them and I wish I didn’t have to pay for my Hydro so I not have to deal with them. I would rather have one back then deal with this company!

Called 4 times in relation to a simple credit reference email needing to be sent out which they also charge $15 for said email. Time frame was 7 to 10 business days which is already a bit much for a generic email to be sent off. Its nowbeen 19 business days and nothing yet. They even said it was set ti the highest level of importance to get sent out. Thats what i get for paying my bill on time for years. Terrible customer service, absolutely ridiculous. This is going to cost me a $500 deposit because they dont respect their customers.

Waited on hold for 2 hours and 36 minutes before finally giving up—absolutely unbelievable! I’m just trying to resolve a bill. How can a company of this size have such terrible customer service?

Its literally impossible to contact anyone here. I’ve been trying for days to contact. I made a mistake when paying my bill and Im trying to correct it, but i went from being 2 minutes to talk to an agent to 45 minutes. I literally cannot skip work just to talk to an agent here.

At this point I feel the only time to talk to an agent is to actually go down to the business yourself and speak to someone at the front desk.

Hydro got shut off 10 days after tentant left .they say a landlord agreement was not in place . Hydro is still off due to I'm away and can't get someone to sit at a empty house for 4 hrs . So it will be off for another week or so til I hv time to do so . Connie is the worst in customer service manager. . Wants to hv a fight with a fight
