Don't get roped into setting up one of their bins on your property. They're playing the same games that Greers did before they started to go under. You'll spend weeks filling and maintaining only for them to CHARGE YOU for pick up and leave you with nothing, claiming you didn't have enough weight. "Sorry. No cheque for you. We keep your metal though. Better luck next time." They want to occupy space on your land and take your metal, but they don't want to pay for it or take responsibility for the transport. You're better off spending the time to haul it into Best Metals yourself. Absolute scam.

Got paid $70 per metric tonne for tin/shred which is an extremely low price, asked for a ballot entry for the draw and didn't receive one. Don't be lured in to sell your precious scrap for a ballot you wont receive like i was.

I am not pleased with my services today . I gathered metal; aluminium , aluminium/ iron and a snowmobile tunnel from my experience with snowmobiling are mostly aluminium except screws , the guy weighing told the guy in the office aluminium/ iron and he argued with me saying it wasn't and paid me for tin. So 220 pounds in total I had going over the scales of aluminium/ iron . Guy pays me mixed tin/ tole. I hate complaining but since 2003 I have been taking metals there and best metals. By far in the last year I have had people in the office that just pay whatever they want no matter what. The guy weighing was exceptionally good to deal with as usual. Tyler is honest and level headed. Usually I don't see him. He is one of the only people working there that does his job right to closing. I got there, due to traffic at 4:50 and guy didn't want to weigh my stuff, turned me away another time guy says I will cash in one item. I have an suv and there wasn't much. Today I had trailer. Really, customers is what gives you the job you have. On the clock till closing, when I worked for someone else I did all my jobs and worked overtime with no pay but I got every raise.

I dont believe in the positive reviews written here! This place is the Scam of Scams!! Thieves paying 10 bucks, 15 bucks for a truck loaded with metals ( in Ontario, I always got 80, 90 bucks); Never again and I hope you shop around after being ripped off by this dirty company!!
