Max and Maclarin did an excellent job installing our new boiler and water tank. They worked very well together and were very diligent. They worked solidly for the three days they were here. Two very excellent employees. The experience with Acorn was superb and we are very happy. (Old system on the left, new on the right)

Nathanial was fantastic! Very professional, punctual, friendly, respectful, clear communicator and very knowledgeable. He explained everything that he was going to do during the service. I felt very comfortable to ask any questions. He definitely knows his product of boilers and hot water tanks. He also educated me on how to make my heating more energy smart and save a little bit of money in the long run by installing a exterior heat sensor that will fluctuate my heat inside without me having to adjustment my thermometers. Nathanial does this company proud, they are lucky to have a great employee which is hard to find these day. Keep up the great work Nathanial.

Having no heat or hot water during the holidays was no fun but after calling a few places, Acorn was able to send Harman the same day (Friday). He confirmed we needed a new furnace then rewired the tankless hot water heater so it wasn't tied into the old furnace and our hot water was restored. Bright and early Monday morning, Curtis and Maclaren showed up with a new furnace and thermostat. The friendly duo worked all morning in a very freezing house. They kept us apprised of their progress and provided us with very good information on the whole system. They did an excellent job of cleaning up when finished! I highly recommend Acorn plumbing and heating!!

We had a excellent experience with Acorn. The office staff were very nice and polite. We were called 45min before Adam came so you knew exactly what time they were coming at. You could not want to meet a more courteous and conscientious person than Adam. We ended up taking the service plan. He covered our carpet to protect it and went through so many tests to make sure everything was correct. I would highly recommend Acorn Service Group.

Very pleased with this company. Long story short, I was in a bit of a jam when the first company I hired couldn't complete my hot water tank replacement due to obstructions in my furnace room. So I found Acorn doing a Google search , and so glad that I did. Everyone from the receptionist to Shane who came up with a solution at a reasonable price to Noah and Red who did an amazing job completing this difficult installation all while taking great care to ensure nothing was damaged. I was very impressed !!

My in-laws hot water tank cracked during the recent freeze we had. We tried to contact the company that did the previous install but got no answer and no call back from them. I called Acorn and spoke with Ian on the phone in the evening and when describing the scene in front of me he knew exactly what the issue was. He reassured me the issue wouldn't require an emergency hours call out and walked me through the steps to shut off the water and gas supplies. He effortlessly guided me to find the relevant information regarding what type and size of tank we had (listed on the tank itself) and was quick to pull up information on it (mfg dates, size, factory warranty info). I got a quote first thing in the morning for cost of parts and labor. I gave the go-ahead and he had informed me shortly after that he personally had loaded a new tank into a service vehicle, and that we could have someone out by the early afternoon to have it replaced. And this is just the glowing review of the service provided by this individual!

Now we get to Nathaniel, the service tech who did the heavy lifting at the house. First we got a call to update us with a more accurate time of when he would be arriving from the service coordinator. When he arrived he confirmed it was alright for him to park on the driveway. Before entering the house he asked to make sure we were alright with him having his shoes and covers on in the house and even multiple times while in the house to reconfirm we were alright with it. I know it's a WCB requirement, but I also know a lot of people don't care about that sort of thing when a service person comes over, so I appreciate him asking all the same. His service was very courteous and professional the entire time. He was careful while moving the new tank around corners and down a set of stairs. He was efficient with his time and had the new one installed in no time at all. Then he did a pressure test on the incoming water and discovered an issue. The first snag during the whole process. The water pressure was way higher than it should be, about 130 psi. He concluded that the pressure regulating valve (PRV) wasn't doing what it's supposed to, which is regulating water pressure from the city supply into the household. Another unfortunate thing to find out about right after discovering you needed to get a new hot water tank. He gave a ball park figure on the cost to replace it, but by the next morning we had a quote from Ian on a concrete cost, including labor, without any pressure to schedule another visit.

Long story short, the service from both their after hours service call, to office coordination, to in home service was top notch in my opinion. A great example of how a service company should operate and treats their customers, and how a field technician presents themselves and reflects upon a company. We will be using their service again in the future.

Nick and Harman I have been dealing with Acorn Plumbing and heating in Tsawwassen for a couple years. Nick came in and put a new garburator in. Quick install and Harlan repaired a gas leak at our furnace igniter. Great price as expected. These guys were professional. Super happy with my one day service!
