Great facility but the hours are awful. First they cut the open hours because of COVID but then never changed them back to what they were before. They open late and close early. As a contractor we often go to a dump on the way to a job first thing in the morning or at the end of day. To top it off now they are closed Monday so people that need to get rid of garbage need to drive to another city.

Well organized for dropping off items. Best time to go is weekdays just after lunch I find. I would like a spot though for shoveling dirt off the back of truck and not have to lift each shovel full over a railing into a bin. I had to do that with a truck load of dirt as it was considered household waste.

I put 4 stars because of its location, it is out in the middle of nowhere, but i guess that is where you put a garbage dump and recycling center.
I was there on friday, there is 3 gates to enter, #1 is for waste drop off, #2 is for the recycleing plant and office buildings, and gate #3 is for hazardous waste drop off, and free bicycle pick up, free paint pick up, and some other cleaning/painting/building suppiles. Not a big selection, 2 shelves of paint, maybe 40-50 cans all different colours indoor/outdoor. Some brand new full cans of paint. but supply depends on what people bring in, so not for sure you will find what you want, but its free, and worth a try. drive up, door is open just walk in and find what you want.
