Great facility for garbage drop off. Looks like the entrance and exit ramps are newly renovated at Gate 1. Easy to unload waste into the large bins.

The staff was very helpful and friendly to answer all questions.

Gate 1 takes most general waste and the hazardous waste drop off center is just down the road which should be Gate 3.

For the most part, they are a decent facility. However, my day starts at 7:30 and goes to 5 or 6. Their hours are 9 to 4. Therefore, given my earning potential, it can cost me up to $140 per visit with lost time on site.

So as a contractor, I Google hours of operation and it says 8 to 4 I thought great I’ll show up at 8 o’clock for the dump. Not realizing that doesn’t open till nine because that is the hours of operation for the office, which seems so much more important.

This is by far the worst garbage facility we have ever been to. We run a business and dump trailer loads almost every day of the week. Nothing but problems and confusion every time we go here. Every day theres a new "traffic flow". The employees are rude and ignorant. They make up rules as they go. Depending on how they feel that day they might want to inspect your load piece by piece. Better off just going to Kitchener. Guelph isn't worth the effort.

I've been there twice once for oil. The other for waste. Extremely helpful and friendly. Yeah the traffic route gets redirected. But so do the highways when work is being done.

Public Drop-off (Gate 1)

Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Closed Sunday and holidays

Never had an issue there, staff have always been pleasant and helpful. Now that the new area is complete it's even better and easier to drop off.
