First time dropping by today! The employees are great and the process is straightforward.

I hope this helps others, as I was unaware of what to expect:

Bring your cans, plastics, glass, steel, tetra, and refillable containers to be recycled.

The amount you get back is half of the deposit amount.

Ideally, sort items by type in bags or boxes. You do not need to count the items prior to recycling

To anyone wondering, the process is:

Drive into the lot, and you will line up to get under an awning or if lucky, drive right up

Once you’re in, park your car and an employee will take your bags/boxes from the car, while you remain in the drivers seat.

An employee will count the items you are recycling – the more you are recycling, the longer the wait.

An employee will provide you with cash and a receipt.

Drive on out!

Beware staff will swear and curse you out in front of your kids in the back seat because you brought too many bottles

Do yourself a favour and go to Best Metals instead. The Southside Redemption is very hard to deal with, rude, and unprofessional.

Less busy than usual ya cause they aren't open. 10:40am on Saturday November 9th when they are supposed to be open until 1pm. Then you see at the bottom of there sign it's not open Saturdays of long weekends. Maybe you should also have that on your answering machine! What a waste of people's time!

Great service, especially with all the physical distancing restrictions right now, this was perfect because we simply stayed in the vehicle. The line was fairly long and we ended up being there quite a while (1.5hrs) but we had no problem waiting! Thankful for this service.

Quiet day there today with the Hanwell Road being repaved. The staff have new machines to count the bottles and cans.
