An extremely rude lady answers the phone for this company's Chilliwack office . She won't let you say a word because she is busy screaming over what you try to say.

The recording when you call says they record all calls and will not tolerate rude or abusive behavior, well Emterra Environmental should start screening their recordings of their own staff because customers also expect the same behavior from them (it's a two way street)+.

My mother is 90 years old, handicapped and does NOT need this behavior from this woman who screamed at her and threatened to discontinue her curbside pick up if she ever called the City of Mission to complain about them not picking up her recyling again.

This place is a Dumpster Fire in slow motion.

I’ve been so impressed with the consistent, reliable service from our local garbage company. Pickups are always timely, the routes are handled with care, and the staff is courteous and professional. We have had MULTIPLE issues in the past few months with Emterra. The worst was when Emterra called my elderly mother and gave her heck for contacting the city when a can was missed. Shame on them! We need a new company once there contract is up next year.

Horrible! Every time we put our garbage bins out they sticker our bins and refuse to take the garbage, I know and understand there is a weight restriction. But our bins aren't heavy at all. We had one bag in the bin because of them constantly leaving our bin we've had to do many dump runs. Called them this morning to talk to customer service. Only to be sworn at and told she doesn't care to hear how my 6 yearold can pick up the garbage bin with garbage in it. HORRIBLE customer service, would rather stick with paying to go to the dump then have to deal with Emterra!

This review is in regards to the recycling depot attendant at Bailey Landfill. I've never been spoken to in such a rude manner on not one but two occasions. Not sure what her power trip is all about but she shouldn't be dealing with the public!

Awful company! Incredibly rude. Lazy drivers. Leave garbage thrown all over the road. Claim your bins are late when you bring them curb side while they are at your house. My complex has an old fat driver with little man syndrome. Could use the extra few steps to grab the bins.

I wish I could leave a 0 star about this location because they're incompetent and ignorant in their office. Some drivers are nice and respectful but it's like they hire whoever without any kind of interaction. I've never been so annoyed by a company before. One driver gave my mother the middle finger because she asked them to not throw our garbage bin. They continuously leave the bins in the middle of the street or upagainst our vehicles and today your office woman hung up on my husband because he didn't understand why our garbage wasn't picked up. All because their drivers were too lazy to walk around a vehicle that was parked in front of the bins. Even though the recycling and compost never had an issue.

I accidentally locked my keys inside my van near this place, and I decided to request some help from their staff. A very nice woman named Amber was able to call me a tow truck to unlock the doors for me. She didn't seem agitated at all that a complete stranger interrupted her morning, and didn't hesitate in providing assistance. Thank you for the help Amber, I am glad to see the quality of kindness is not yet extinct in our society.
