We have been going to Salish Soils for well over 12 years and the staff have generally been exceptional; however, there have been a few new faces / hires lately that are about as rude, and as apathetic as can be. Even more unsettling given that we had only asked an innocent question.

Super-friendly and helpful staff. The management, notably Aaron and Lori, are some of the most community-focused people I know and we’re blessed to have them in Sechelt. Their team makes great product that helps my garden thrive. My go to, highly recommend.

They have a pretty good setup here. Everything is marked fairly well. If you are still not sure where something goes don't worry because the guys that work there are so friendly and willing to help tear down materials and sort with you if you need it. They usually have a funny anecdote or two as well as great music vibes to keep the people rolling through quicker so they can assist the next guy/gal. I always leave with a smile. 10 stars for all the great products they sell and of course for recycling all of our useless plastic paper tin cans everything. Pretty centrally located too.
I just wish someone would pave the road between the recycle depot and the independent store.
That road is like a bucking bronc, and you go with zigzagging back-and-forth across the road, trying to find three points to buoy your boat up.
And it’s so much longer going back through town.
I thought these guys were in the business of road making… Perhaps asphalt isn’t one of their products. I am remiss and not having that information at hand, but the question still remains.
Perhaps if they made it a toll road ? Haha

Due to a minor communication error my garbage can was missed on pickup day. However the people of Salish Soils and AjM went above and beyond to get my garbage can picked up. Both companies were very customer orientatated, polite and courteous and expediated the process.
