Exceptional Service – Lifesavers in the Heat!
Huge shoutout to Mike's Electric in Woodstock for going above and beyond when our 14 year old Lennox Air Conditioner suddenly stopped working during a heatwave.
From the first call, they were incredibly responsive and got someone out to us much faster than expected. Turns out we were lucky enough to find young Mike our electrician today.
He was also the fellow who installed our whole heating and cooling system many many years before.

Mike was professional, friendly, and quick to diagnosed the problem.
Not only did Mike's Electric have the right parts on hand, but he also took the time to explain what went wrong and how to prevent it in the future.
Mike made sure everything was running efficiently before leaving.

It’s rare to find this level of care and expertise these days. The pricing was more than fair, especially for such fast, high-quality work.
Thanks to all at Mike's Electric, our home is cool again and we’re beyond grateful!

After obtaining 4 quotes for a furnace install with central A/C and an additional A/C ductless unit for our house addition, we were won over by Mike's quote because of the overall price, the durability of the units (all Trane) and friendliness of Mike Jr. He was very knowledgeable and "down-to-earth", understanding and accommodating. We booked the install weeks ahead and the boys arrived on time for 3 days, worked diligently and shared their progress daily, how the units worked, cleaned up after themselves (swept and vacuumed) and ensured we were comfortable with the new system before they left. We couldn't be more happier with the install. The outside units were installed on the foundation of the house via brackets which was clean and neatly installed. The furnace itself was placed on a concrete pad in our unfinished basement (which was a pleasant surprise to us as we do get a little water down there with heavy rains) and the metal work (the ducts) look beautiful, straight, sealed and finished. The outside lines for the standalone ductless unit was neatly covered with a casing which makes it almost invisible against the siding. The inside ductless unit was perfectly straight and installed aesthetically centre in its space and "looks" beautiful (with a lot of features I thought were awesome!). Every line installed (electrical) was done with care and connected to the panel professionally.

I would recommend Mike's Electric because they meet and exceeded my expectations 9 out of 10, thus my review on Google. Thank you Mike Jr for coming out and shining! We will call you again.

Wanted to share our experience with this wonderful local company in our community. Our furnace stopped working over Christmas, they went above and beyond to make sure we had heat . When Arnie worked with them, and Old Mike was in charged they had fair prices, quality, were fast and super professional. Now that they retired, they have poor quality, they are super slow, and they became SUPER expensive.

After they retired, the new people they have done really bad installations at home, that they had to come back to fix it.

I just got quoted almost 5K, while I requested 2 more quotes of local business, and follow the same process for a fair comparation., and those are 2.5K in average. I was a regular. I will never use their services again.

It is sad to see that they try to increase the prices when you are a regular, it should be the opposite.

Not only are Mike's prices extremely reasonable, but his team is professional, courteous and thorough. It was our first experience with them redoing our electrical panels and we will continue using them for future needs. Thanks Mike!!!

Mike may be good, but I wouldn't know, for my call of last Wednesday has not been responded to. I've called 3 times. Today was my third, spoke to Victoria. She passes the calls to Tanya who calls back and sets the appointment. Apparently, Tanya is out of the office, but returning calls and setting appointments, with people who left a message after mine on Wednesday. This is bad business as far as I'm concerned and Mike, if you see this, give Tanya her walking papers, for I really don't know what she is doing and why she isn't at her desk. I am pissed off, due to Tanya, that I don't trust Mikes electric if this is an acceptable business practice.

Furnace quit on Thanksgiving morning. I contemplated getting emergency services and they were willing to come out. I knew I didn't want to spend extra money on labour so waited til next day.
The owner, Mike answered the phone when i called early on the Tues morning and I explained what i thought was wrong. He said they couldnt send anyone out until 430 at the earliest and if a part needed to be ordered, it would not be fixed until the next day. I accepted the appointment
However, i received a call in the early afternoon that they had a cancellation and could be out sooner so being an emergency I said the sooner the better. Mike, the owner, himeself came out and found a much different problem than what was suspected but it was a much quicker fix without having to buy extra parts.
The guy knows what he's talking about and he is so friendly. I even got to learn a bit and loved talking sports with him while I sat near by. The dude is awesome. 5/5
