They don't take old oils or coolant. Even if they say so on there website.

With so many people working shiftwork or out of town, this place is only open to the regular public three days per week. That makes it very difficult for a lot of home owners and others to do a dump run without taking time off from work. Remember, this is a public facility that is closed to the public for more days than it is open.

Only 2 days a week they are open to people, on a long weekend they close one of those days even though Friday and Monday are the holiday! You have to search for there hours as they aren't posted on the rdsk site instead it's on the recycling site.

Pretty bad that i live in terrace and have to go to kitimat refuse site to get rid of things because this one is only open three days a week compared to the kitimat one open six days a week. A small price to pay in fuel to be able to get rid of things when u need to and not have to wait for the weekend to show up.....

Why can't we have more days during the work week to take garbage to the dump.why is it if we are trying to go green and recycle there is no way to repurpose perfectly good materials. Rather then smashing it up and filling a hole. Repurposing prevents the need to make another new product which is way greener. Then polluting a valley.

Worst hours possible, why not open up one day in the middle of the week, at least, no wonder people in Terrace dump so much garbage in the bush
