Earlier in the year we had Matt from M.B. Eye Electrical install our 200amp service, front outdoor GFI, and Generlink connection and generator. They did great work so we asked them to investigate what we thought was a live line in our ceiling outlet. I had turned off the main breaker and the line was live according to my meter. They are extremely busy and came over. It turns out my Klein Tool NCVT-1 voltage tester is to sensitive. You can rub it on your shirt and it picks up static. Matt used his voltage checking equipment and confirm the line was off. Matt was great and installed the ceiling fixture and didn't charge us.
In the future I will definitely ask Matt before I buy anything for my electrical needs. Once again thank you Matt and Madison for everything you've done for us. We plan on having them come back soon to put a light on our garage. We highly recommend Matt and his team. They provide great quality and friendly service.

We have been so pleased with the service provided by the team at MB Eye Electrical!

A few weeks ago I noticed that our power bill was very high, even with a heat pump and an electric hot water boiler.
After checking the boiler I saw that the PSI was not operating and system was not functioning properly.
The weekend was approaching and the temperature was going to drop pretty low.
I contacted Matt and after checking the boiler he discovered a few issues that needed to be further investigated.

With an older Slant Fin system that was no longer being manufactured it was clear that parts for replacement would be pretty tough to find.

He found that one of the electrical contactors had burnt out, the first of a few potential problems causing the system to malfunction.

The boiler was also not filling with water so he bled it out and added water in hopes that an air bubble was causing the problem as it had almost run dry.

The infloor heating needed to be shut down until the first step of replacing the contactor could happen.

With a very cold snap fast approaching it was evident that the one heat pump upstairs was not going to be enough heat to reach the lower prevent and prevent the pipes from bursting.

Matt immediately came to the rescue and wired a temporary industrial heater downstairs for the lower level and garage as the temperature was quickly dropping.

We were so grateful that our home would be safe and warm until we knew if this part could be found.

Matt used all efforts to source out this replacement part and found it within the week!

He came to replace the contactor and once the breaker was switched back on the system was fully functioning again!

Huge relief as the potential for bigger and much more expense problems with this older system was the concern.
That being said the next step will be adding a second heat pump from MB Eye Electrical on the lower level as well as taking advantage of the government programs to replace this obsolete electric boiler system.

They also provide great advice on your overall system. They may even provide tips to maintain what you currently have or give suggestions on how to improve more in the future so you can plan down the road. Recently contracted M B Eye Electrical to design and install a ground mounted Solar system.

The LG Bi-facial panels, Enphase Enlighten consumption / monitoring, engineered racking system and installation completed by Matt and his staff fully met my expectations. Matt provided direction and assisted with both the Efficiency PEI rebate application and Maritime Electric’s net metering Agreement.
