I was supposed to take r4 near home depot to bower . It was just 4.42 bus was scheduled at 4.46 . I was crossing road and the bus didn't even wait till 46 and went away.
That's so disappointing .

I was waiting at bus stop from last 15 minutes bus came at 5.50 didn't stop for me and passes even tho I was standing over there I wish I could rate zero. Wasted my time . Missed my another bus bcuz I have to walk all the way down now.
That's the second time at the same stop now. Talked to one of the drivers last time they don't care what the maps says or the transit app says he said we go as per our schedule not as per what you see. So what's the point of having these apps then?
I'm so irritated and disappointed. Worst transit services tbh.

Honestly if I could put zero I would.
Buses are almost never on time, and when you kindly ask to hold a bus they tell you “get a car and be happy”. Well maybe you do your job better…
Yesterday on June 18th around 8:15 pm, me and my friend decided to take a bus route #10. We didn’t know when the bus stops its operations for the day. So, we came came to the bus stop and it was really windy. The bus drove up to us, but the driver, who is a white male, with a long brown beard, refused to open the door for us, he just stood there with the door closed, which was really rude. So then, after a while he FINALLY opened the door, and as we started coming in and paying, he said “Do you guys even realize that this bus goes only to St. Joeseph?” (which is two stops away), in a very condescending tone.. The whole time we were in the bus going to our final stop he was shaking his head side to side, because he was clearly pissed that we boarded the bus.
Honestly, such drivers genuinely ruin the person’s day because of their own stupidity. If they’re so rude and disrespectful they should just quit the job.. What if me and my friend were actually in danger and needed help and that bus driver clearly didn’t create a safe or welcoming environment AT ALL. What if we wanted to go to exactly that stop (his last stop at St. Joseph high school)? What is his problem?
You guys need to get in check with who you hire..

Been taking red deer transit for 30 years and the past couple of years its really gone down the toilet. Sometimes my bus comes 4 or 5 min late, sometimes a few min early, and then doesnt wait! Also the busses have been leaving city center late as well. And I wont even start about evening busses. A horrible service if you ask me

Was waiting for the 2, got to the stop at 5:06am, online it says it comes to that stop at 5:10am, this is when i usually get on in the morning, but the bus never arrived today. when looking at the live map it said the bus was already way past the stop i was waiting at, even know i was there before the scheduled arrival time. this isnt the first time this has happened either. drivers need to stop and wait at certain stops instead of rushing through their routes. Its no wonder people talk so badly about the transit system if this is what they do, if the bus doesnt arrive when it says it will arrive it will make people late for their jobs and other things.

You guys wanna like... Actually tell people they have to reprogram their cards instead of assuming people would know? My email for my transit assistance said i could go anywhere to get my pass filled. Why is it i HAVE to go downtown to get it programmed for the program im already on? Maybe you guys should hand this information out instead of holding it to yourselves. Crystal clear information would be great not just 'eh here we were to lazy to inform everyone cause we assume everyone knows how the system works'. City needs yo up their game and stop being short with everyone.

I was going-driving down Gatze Avenue going south around Wheaton Chev Olds-about 5:00 am-I was driving me Chevrolet Colorado going the speed limit 60 km a hour-then all of sudden a City of Ref Deer Transit Bus came flying-speeding by me.LOL

February 14th

Male operator short spiked blonde hair with glasses wasn’t happy with the fact I requested to be taken to 62nd street and was told I should just jump on the route 1 instead getting off at the mall in the opposite direction to which I said no to due to the fact it’s way too cold to be walking that far, he then had the audacity to have an attitude over the fact he had to go out of his way to drop me off at my designated stop even though it is an evening shuttle and that is what he get’s paid to do, trying to tell me he doesn’t know where 62nd street is - give me a break!

Fast forward the next evening on February 15th, same operator who blatantly denied me shuttle service once again for a second time telling me to ride up to the Mall in the opposite direction costing me an extra $5 in cab fare because it was -25 with the windchill, used the same excuse on me that he didn’t know where 62nd street is located but let on another passenger who was going to 60th street which is a two block/two street radius.

If it’s any indication I’ve seen this same operator drive right past my apartment complex and street several times when I haven’t been on board but it would appear I am being singled out unfairly causing me to not even want to take transit at all.

I find this to be absolutely ridiculous and there needs to be a drastic change of operators with RDT, try hiring people who want to be in customer service who can deal with the public properly.
