Well organized, no wait and a drop and shop tent with constantly changing inventory. A good place to leave things that you don't need that are still in decent shape instead of throwing them away. Check in with the staff as there are some restrictions about items that can be added.

The drop and swap is a great way to keep items out of the landfill. I love stopping by for all sorts of finds. The workers keep it tidy and keep out actual trash.
Only downside is the road is sometimes very rough to drive on, but it's understandable because of the large waste trucks.

Zero star review. I have been a long time resident of Sylvan Lake and have lived here my whole life. The transfer site has become an honest hassle and embarrassment to go to. first off. There are employees there that do very hard work. I am not saying otherwise, but there is a woman who is older blonde( I guess) looks fairly beaten up and unkempt and every time I go to drop off table harasses me. Never going again. AWould take trip out to Bentley or Lacombe even red deer before Sylvan Lake sadly

I love this place. The people are reasonable,fair and friendly. The woman is particularly friendly and helpful and always puts a smile on my face. Don't get me wrong though, she's tough so don't you dare think you can walk all over her! She is great at her job! Thank you!

I brought in 3 small bed frames some boxes and a 4 person table. Maybe 200pds max. I was charged $57 and was told it was 1300 pounds. This place is a scam. There is no way I was able to pick up over 1000 pounds on my own. I tried talking to them and they didn't even understand 590kg is 1300pds. I believe either its a scam or they got the wrong truck. They don't even ask for a license plate number. I will never be using this place again unless this gets sorted out.
