John likes to close the dump extra early, before the times posted. If you were used to getting the before the posted closing of 5pm and using the dump forget about it and reasonable wait times, forget about that. The new supervisor John shuts down early and runs trucks through at a snails pace.

Slow and unreasonable. Let hope they can get someone running the Walker gate back on track.

I have made several trips to this dump, and multiple times they closed earlier than their posted hours — sometimes by an hour or more. Each time, I loaded up my personal family car with household garbage, drove all the way there, and was turned away because they decided to close early for random reasons like being “busier than usual” or because “the wind was a bit stronger than normal.”
After being refused, I had to drive back, unload all the garbage again, use the car for daily life — taking care of my kids, shopping, and regular errands — and later reload an even bigger amount of garbage to try again.
This endless cycle is frustrating and exhausting. The garbage keeps piling up, and my family car, which is meant for everyday life, is constantly being loaded and unloaded because they randomly shut down whenever they feel like it. This level of unreliable service is absolutely unacceptable.

Great place to drop E-waste and household items like old microwaves, refrigerators etc. We just drove up the large scale and the attendant directed us where to go. We had an old microwave, old cell phones and several computer monitors. Dropped them off and it was no charge.

Usually great service. Recently made the mistake of trying to dropoff within 5 minutes of closing time. Sadly they make sure everything's closed up tight so they can leave at 5pm, not so people can dropoff before 5pm like they should still be able to.

Great people, great service. For the public, there are 3 drop-off points.
The first one as you enter is on the left for hazardous materials. Ie paints, oils, batteries, etc.
Second drop off point on the left after hazardous waste is brush. So tree trimmings, shrobs, etc.
Both of the above two are free.
At the end of the road,veer left. That is where you have a waste drop-off. Tires are no charge. House hold waste and construction material is charged by the ton with a minimum charge levied.
It's very organized with bins for metal, etc.
They weigh you going in and coming out to get your price.
staff are all very nice and helpful

This place is brutal, took me 3 minutes to dump my stuff but it took over 50 minutes to get in and out because of the lineup to exit.
