I called last week and we planned a date to get my solar panels installed. We ran into some complications with the dimensions I have chosen but the guys there. Jacob and Jack were very informative and were able to come up with a solution I was happy with.

Overall a very good experience, happy with the price and very happy with the results.

We are planning to leave on a month long trip to Newfoundland next week. We had thought about a power supply for our camping trailer when off-grid and a backup for home use when not away, at the last minute decided to go ahead and purchase a Delta 2 with 220 Solar panels.
I contacted Eco flow.com by phone to see about paying for faster shipping but their answer was we only do the free standard shipping and could not arrange for faster. They suggested I call FedEx myself! In a word their customer service was "useless"
I searched on-line for places selling the Eco Flow Delta 2.

Calling TRU Off Grid and speaking to Jack (May 12 am) was one of the most rewarding experiences in customer service I have ever had!
Having worked in customer service, and being proud of my interaction with customers, I appreciated the way I was treated, efficient but with an amazing personal touch that made you feel appreciated as a customer.

The order was shipped about 2pm Monday May 12 and we received it ( we live in the "sticks" in Lanark Highlands Ontario) about 2pm Tuesday May 13!!!!
And no, there was no extra charge for fast shipping!

When we upgrade and buy add on batteries to connect to the Delta 2, or any other accessories we will be buying from TRU Off Grid, Milton Ontario.

I had purchased a 100ah Dakota Lithium and a charger to go with it from Tru Off Grid at the sportsman show this year. I was very happy with the competitive price point, as well as the customer service that they provided me both at the point of purchase and afterwards. As it happens, I had some troubleshooting to do some time after the purchase. The staff took very good care of me and helped me get back on the water as quickly as they could. I couldn't have asked for better customer service, even weeks after the sale.

I would recommend this company to anyone who is trying to decide on where to buy their batteries. The service you get here is second to none.

My experience dealing with Tru Off Grid has been nothing short of exceptional.

My 12 KW system was installed in one day and included the electrical setup, etc. It was installed on the exact date agreed upon, and both Jack and his electrician were helpful, professional and courteous. In fact, there were a number of suggestions made by Tru Grid that have proved to enhance the electrical system beyond what was originally planned.

Prior to the actual installation, I had to reach out to Jack on several occasions asking for his insight. He always responded either the same day or next and with satisfactory answers.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tru Off Grid for any solar installations. They were a pleasure to deal with and very professional.

Unfortunately, for me, I had nothing but problems with both the Ecoflow products and Tru Offgrid service and follow up.
I live completely off-grid and purchased Panels and a complete Ecoflow system.
My Smart generator failed immediately. I'm now on my 4th generator/inverter in 5 months. Not including the 2 I had to borrow in all the downtime. So far so good on the latest 2000 model.
Firmware updates required for brand new products purchased just not available and the products did not work as advertised because of this.
Service from Ecoflow was terrible until I informed them I contacted CBSA and RCMP fraud devisions. It definitely improved. I will still be waiting for a few months for them to have a software update for my 4000 genny so it works properly.

Jack was available by phone and we discussed dozens of issues I was having with this "plug and play" system and missing part's. I eventually received most of the parts I needed. He told me several times that he would come by and help figure things out. I spent countless hours trying to resolve all these issues.
It turned out that I was given incorrect and bad advice regarding the wiring of both my panels and the Hub. I have been able to correct half the wiring but due to winter conditions have to wait to rewire all 8 of my roof panels. Another half days work that could absolutely been avoided.

Very disappointed that I spent 14K with these circumstances. In hindsight I would have preferred to build my own system and will do that in the future.

Companies and operators need to be scrutinized and held accountable period. Other then that, both Jack and his Dad are very pleasant people.

Dear Ecoflow,

I do appreciate keeping the 4000. That was after having to ship 2 back already and I told you I was NOT shipping back another. You are more then welcome to come pick it up! It is essentially useless to me until you have the proper software available. As per your email you suspect sometime in the next 6 months?

You were very close to being investigated by the CBSA and RCMP so I would have a little humility to say the least.

Hey, you ever walk into an establishment wanting a mattress and the salesperson starts upselling ? Ever walk in not knowing what you want or need and the sales person starts telling you what you need? Well this isn’t tru grid , these guys have your back! They take the time to find out what your needs and expectations are and will far exceed them. They don’t have used car salesmen vibes!
