BEWARE THEY ARE A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS!! Started leasing a new unit where we didn’t even start renovating until last week January first week February and my first bill was over $1000 when nobody was even there and nothing was used!! We complained and it took a while to get them to agree to change the meter and sure enough shortly after changing the meter my bills dropped from $1200 to $250 a month and they refuse to give me ANY money back. They don’t care about their customers and are shady. They insist there was nothing wrong with the meter but we know the truth. We even tested if another unit was using any of our electricity or power and it we proved they were not. Specifically dealt with Natalie, Joanne and Kirby and none of them cared to resolve the issue and were completely useless. It’s no wonder NT power has the rating that they have .

Worst service wish we had hydro one in midland instead of NT. Been out of power for 4 days now. Literally on there website it says they are waiting for hydro one to fix there issues. Meanwhile hydro one got there customers power back on within 2 days of wide spread outages near me. Stay in Newmarket if your not going to do anything to help when we need it, give the rights to hydro one who are out there making a difference

Please make it easier for me to give you my money. I've been trying to set-up Pre-authorized payments since you took over Midland PUC. I don't want to have to pay over phone every month through a system also lacking in ease of use. Signing up for the pre-authorized payments actually requires intermediate to advanced skills in computers and to rub salt in the wound, the FAQ section on the website just doesn't answer any questions? Why is your online structure even less than half-baked!?

1. How hard can it be to set up pre-authorization? As someone with a higher education background who has lived in multiple countries, this is by far the most complicated and absurd process I’ve ever encountered for paying a utility bill. Setting up pre-authorization actually requires manual processing through email. I can’t imagine how much trouble this would cause for elderly individuals who may not be familiar with computer operations.
2. Paying with a credit or debit card incurs a 1.5-3% fee. Also, the first payment cannot be done through pre-authorization; it has to be done this way.
3. The service center is closed on weekends and shuts down by 4 PM on weekdays. What’s the point of having a service center if they’re so reluctant to offer any real assistance? They might as well close it entirely.
4. If there were another option in the market, this would definitely not be the case. Bureaucracy thrives here due to the lack of competition and oversight.

I am A building manager and cable had snapped in half and the building I managed was completely out of power at 6 AM. I was so impressed with how fast NT arrived and they worked so hard all day to make sure the power was back on. I also appreciate their patience when a couple of tenants started bothering them on how long they were taking. I truly truly appreciate you guys and never wanna go through that again, ……Yvonne .

NT power was great in getting my power back on within an hour for the Christmas holidays! They stated on Facebook that it could take between 2-4 hours.
Not only that! Credit department let me skip my equal billing payment for the end of the month to give my children and I a Christmas!
As people can see my name I’m a disabled advocate and this certainly had put my mind at ease to enjoy tonight and tomorrow with my children
